With that said.... a team that needs revenue and fans should take a flier on him
I thought the TV deal gives a shitton of revenue to every team?
Regardless, What teams do you think would benefit from his play on the field vs the media shit-show-circus that would ensue?

I couldn't care less if he is being blackballed (a fitting term for his ass) it will have zero effect on my life. Maybe some of you that feel so badly for him putting himself in that predicament should send him some money to survive on until arena football gives him a call.

Weeden actually watches game film & doesn't f**k teammates' girlfriends. Your point is laughably stupid. You should thank God you've never had the misfortune of Kaepernick f***ing up your team.

Lol Kaep is the reason they were giving up 30 a game and Kerley was their top weapon?

You must be dumbfounded at the fact that we haven't scored a TD in 3/4 games this year now that we've gotten rid of the "problem", the guy that "f***d the team up".

Meanwhile the guy that supposedly f***d everything up threw 16 TDs in 11 starts last year with Kerley.

Kaep isn't the greatest, but you've been placing a lot of blame in the wrong places. The roster flat out sucks and it was worse last year.

If we can all be honest with one another (SPECIFICALLY SPEAKING ABOUT FRONT OFFICE OF TEAMS) and admit Kaep is being blackballed then I would be cool with this. To lie and act like these QB's are better options is insulting our intelligence.

If Kaep can make a statement, why can't the owners? Ya'll act like Kaep is entitled... It's hypocrisy...

That's fine but be straight forward about it. They should all stop putting on this act

I wish all of them would... I watch football to be entertained and to get away from the garbage in our world, that includes politics...

It's not like Kaepernick would fit into a statement that employs a lot of read option and short passing . That's totally Weedens forte

The media has done more to destroy Kaeperdouche's career than anyone.

He was a distraction with his kneeling on the 49ers, now being signed he'd be a MASSIVE distraction. Media would be ALL over him and the team with the signing and be flipping out 24/7.

I can just imagine the liberal douche nozzle bitch on TV all glitzed up, "And the Colin Kaepernick drought has FINALLY been resolved. <insert random douche name>, what does this mean for the NFL and equal opportunity?" "Well <insert liberal douche nozzle bitch's name>, this is tremendous for everyone in this nation. Colin Kaepernick took a stance against equal opportunity, and we're seeing the results and payoff right now, everyone in this Country deserves... <continues on pointlessly for 30 minutes while we just want the female chick to take her clothes off and submit to P0rnhub>"

I wouldn't put it past BLM dorks rioting as well because... something... so they can get free loot and rob stores.

Also Weeden has proven to be a winner . He's sporting a 1 game winning streak as a starter and if you forget about the 13 in a row he lost before that win his career record is 6-6 as a starter and that ain't bad

After all this, do you realize why signing him would be the biggest mistake ever? If you thought he was a distraction before, signing him NOW after the liberal left douche nozzle media has made a giant fucking spectacle of some guy that looks like squidward, would be the biggest distraction in history to an NFL team.

I'm sure the MOMENT he'd be signed reporters would be hassling the owner, FO, and coaches 24/7 about when Kaeperdouche is going to start or how they came to this 'important decision'. After they've run through and exhausted that crew, they'll immediately go to the players every fucking minute and ask them what it means to them that Colin is now signed.

You've gotta be the most ignorant or stupidest fuck on the planet if you don't get this. Only person that blackballed Kaeperdouche was Kaeperdouche, sorry Kaepernick... which doesn't shock me. His hair probably absorbs all remaining 30 brain cells he has left.

I fully believe Kaep has been blackballed. But I also understand a team not wanting to deal with the attention that it would get just roughly 2 weeks after that Trump firestorm bullshit. Ironically, if the NFL would have just sacked up and signed him this offseason, 95% of this shit would have been avoided. Dumbasses all around doubling down on dumbassery

What I don't get is picking Weeden over RG3. Weeden is fucking garbage. RG3 could at least mimic half of what Mariota does for a game or two.

seriously. I can understand not wanting to deal with the PR mess, but for people to say that guys like Weeden/Gabbert are better is just asinine.

also, your season is in trouble if you're depending on a backup QB anyway

yeah, I'd hardly pin last year's 49ers disaster on Kaepernick, not to mention Gabbert was absolute crap when he played. Unless you have a very good offense, you're not going to win many games when you allow 480 points over a season. Brian Hoyer isn't exactly setting the world on fire.

 Thanks for proving my point. Kaepernick was benched for that joke of a QB. And Gabbert had better character, work ethic, respect for his teammates, etc.

Kaepernick is a turd. He always was. He was just on an outstanding team in 2012 & 2013.

Kaepernick is 4-2 in the playoffs over a 6 year career.
Compare that to these starters: Andy Dalton, Jay Cutler, Carson Palmer and Philip Rivers.
So are playoff wins a team or personal accomplishment? Everytime a NE fan brings it up as a Brady accomplishment all the haters agree it's a team thing. SF had better teams so pretty easy to understand.

Kap = mediocre
No team wants to put up with the media shit storm that will accompany him. If he were a top 10 QB maybe a team takes the chance, maybe?

The motherfucking locker rooms are already divided.
Lots of players are kneeling and lots are standing all around the league.

What he started is now widespread, so its not like he's bringing anything new to the equation.
Except, maybe winning experience.
Or more division in the locker room/league.
