I always thought the debate between PSU and Nebraska in 94 was a better one . Both those teams were loaded. Most CFB fans that aren't Michigan fans think Nebraska was clearly the better team in 97
Penn State was the better team IMO.

Well, he was right with the turning the ball part over at least for their previous games. If they don't have 2 int's vs Louisville they most likely win that game. Now they have to actually play a good defense.

I actually think Purdue wins tomorrow too.

Wishful thinking? I'd like Iowa to knock off Penn State, too.
Eh Iowa is in the sake division as Purdue so the Boilers winning isn't good for me. Just a vibe I've had all week. I've been trying to shake it, trust me lol

Still feel the same about Louisville?

I do . Louisville beat a solid UNC team and I think they end up with 9 or 10 wins. Purdue looked really solid on Friday against a decent Ohio team. The West is intriguing this year to me. Wisky is the favorite but the gap doesn't appear to be as big as I had thought and the gap between 2 and 7 in the division is pretty small. Iowa, Illinois, Purdue and Minnesota have all looked better than I thought they'd be and Nebraska showed me a lot in the second half at Oregon despite the loss. NW is really the only team who has looked far worse than I thought they'd be

UNC is 'solid'?

They lost at home to Cal.
Cal struggled to put FCS Weber St away in Berkley. They trailed 17-20 at the end of the 3rd Q.

Louisville trailed UNC 27-28 at the end of the 3rd Q.

I think Lamar is a great player, but have doubts about his supporting cast.

Still think UNC is "solid"?

My B1G Power Rankings after Week 4

1. Penn State (4-0, 1-0) - Last Week: 1 -With under two minutes left, the Nittany Lions needed a touchdown to win vs a defense that had done great job doing so all four quarters. They got that touchdown with no time left on the clock. Barkley is a beast of a running back.

2. Michigan (4-0, 1-0)
- Last Week: 3 - The Wolverines have found themselves a starting QB in O'Korn. I know struggling against Purdue isn't a feat to rush the field, but Purdue has looked pretty good so far. Plus, Michigan is one of two teams to be 4-0 with a conference win.

3. Wisconsin (3-0)- Last Week: 2 -The Badgers had a week off this week. They haven't really faced a team that could test them, but they also have played like it as well. We will see how they do against a NW team that has has failed to reach expectations.

4. Ohio State (3-1, 1-0) - Last Week: 4 - The Buckeyes dominated UNLV. I would have dropped them down if they didn't. The big test they have had, they didn't look good. But they are right in the mix with teams that I have above them with Rutgers and Maryland as their next two games.

5. Iowa (3-1, 0-1)[/B] - Last Week: 6 -Hawkeyes was one play away from having another upset over a Top 5 team at Kinnick Staduim. Iowa's offense struggled pretty much the entire game. Anyone looking at stats would say the defense got destroyed. Anybody watched the game would say the defense kept them in the game.

6. Minnesota (3-0) - Last Week: 8 -The Gophers had the week off and took advantage over a few losses from some B1G teams Minnesota has looked good the last two games, but they aren't that good of opponents. They are still undefeated.

7. Michigan State (2-1) - Last Week: 9 -End of a rivalry ends with the Spartans hanging their heads. Notre Dame had a 28-7 lead at halftime. However, the Spartans have looked good leading up to this game. With the Hawkeyes coming to town next week, will they get back on track?

9. Indiana (2-1, 0-1) - Last Week: 10 - The Hoosiers hung with the Buckeyes for a good half and ended up getting dominated. They have since dominated Virginia and Georgia Southern. PSU got an emotional win at Kinnick Stadium, could they be hung over when Indiana comes to town?

8. Purdue (2-2, 0-1)- Last Week: 5 -Losing to Purdue or Michigan is not that big of deal. Those are quality opponents compared to teams other B1G teams have faced. Losing to Louisville and Iowa has to cost them. But I still think the Boilermakers are overachieving still.

10. Maryland (2-1) - Last Week: 7 - The Terps have been the underdog story everyone was rooting for, it seemed. They beat Texas in Austin and totally dominated their FCS opponent. However, UCF totally dominated them today. Knights led 14-3 at halftime and outscored the Terps 24-7 in the 2nd half.

11. Northwestern (2-1)- Last Week: 11 -The Wildcats had a week off and last week they dominated the Wildcats. However, they got dominated by Duke and looked didn't look very good against Nevada. Could Justin Jackson have a big game at Camp Randall next week?

12. Nebraska (2-2, 1-0) - Last Week: 12 - The Huskers had the longest active losing streak in the B1G until today. They beat the only B1G team who still has 1 win. Could they go from having a 2-game skid to a 2-game W streak when they face Illinois?

13. Illinois (2-1) - Last Week: 13 -The bye week does not help Illinois at all. They have only looked good against WKU and struggled in their win against Ball State. Even though USF is playing very well, they still got dominated.

14. Rutgers (1-3, 0-1) - Last Week: 14 - Rutgers is the only team to not have 2 or more wins. Doesn't look like it will be better next week as they face the Buckeyes.

I think Michigan is too high given what they've done on the field. The Florida win is looking less impressive and the offense is looking more like Brady Hoke's last year than a Jim Harbaugh offense. Just MHO, but I'm thinking they are playing more like a 5 right now, give or take.

Like other ranking services, Wisconsin's bye week gets them a drop in the rankings.

I'd have:
PSU
Wisconsin
tOSU
Michigan

I'd hardly say they found their QB in O'Kern. They were having the same passing troubles as with Speight. Maybe the QB isn't the issue in Ann Arbor :noidea:

It will be interesting to see what he does next week
