Any team that makes the postseason has a chance, and I don't mind you thinking the Astros have the best chance, I just don't think they're the "hands down favorite."

I think the Astros played way over their heads in the first half based largely on a particularly weak schedule, and their 24-26 record over their last fifty supports that.

I think Verlander might help them hold on to the best record, but frankly, I don't think he's a difference maker against the Indians should they meet in the postseason. The Indians historically hit him well (4.71 career ERA vs Tribe) and something like 8+ ERA over his last four starts against them.

Fair enough, should be interesting... baseball in the fall is alway's when it's fun ... good luck to your Tribe ..

Haven't been a baseball fan for like 30 years now, but I saw on sports center tonight that CC Sabathia was complaining about the other team bunting on him. Is it just me or is that possibly the biggest bitch move in spiirts history. Even his own teammates should tell him to stfu that he sounds retarded.

If I was the opposing batter or even the opposing team I would hold a press conference and apologize for hurting the integrity of the game by bunting, but that I only did it because Sabathia cheated first by throwing the ball out of the strike zone sometimes. And even worse he threw curveballs and stuff, not all of his balls went right down the middle.

If CC will promise to play fair and only throw fast balls straight diwm the middle, and not TOO fast, then i wouldn't try to bunt any more and would only try for homeruns.

it is stupid. I don't know why the Sox didn't try to bunt more often. Same thing goes for the Yankees and Schilling in the 2004 ALCS. I like Sabathia but god does he come off as a whiny ****.
