I completely agree..... however, I still don't think that they start him right away. Seems to me the smartest teams in this past draft, with the exception of the Chicago Bears, were the teams like Houston and Kansas City who drafted QB's with first round potential that they were willing to sit and truly develop. Been saying this for a long time, I know it's old school, but this new nonsense of throwing them in when they are not ready or merely because they were a high first round pick is both wrough with too many risks and to be honest foolish.

Whether hand, hammy or holding back... does anyone really believe he's still gonna be playing by week three. What are the odds of someone tearing his achilles two years in a row soon as he begins his training camps. He has developed a chronic problem with the tendon over the years and I will be shocked if it doesnt tear again. If he can make it through the 4th game of the regular season ill feel better... but my hopes aren't high for a complete season.
