It's June 7th. The season isn't ending today.

We're six weeks ahead of the All Star Game.

If we handed out the MVP on June 7th last year, Jackie Bradley Jr. would be your reigning AL MVP.

JBJ had a MUCH larger sampling of sucktitude prior to that flash last season, than Judge's 95 AB's last season

No, but that New York fella that I was chatting with earlier did.

I'm learning that he likes to speak in overstatements in everything that we've talked about so far. LeBron James and the Cavs, the NFL or now the baseball, he has a penchant for going overboard, a lot.

I need to work on the grain of salt.
Looks to me like he said that he was the AL MVP frontrunner. Which he is.

Sorry, I thought it was implied that when I said "an infield" what I meant was "a good infield"

Oh, Gotcha, youre the "Everyone on the team i love is great, everyone on the team i hate sucks" guy

Id rather be the guy that exaggerates an accurate point

The Yankees aren't the only game in town for free agents who want big dollars anymore.

I think the worst sign for the future of the Yankees was the Marlins giving Stanton that contract. If they can do it, anyone can do it.

If you havent been paying attention, the Yankees arent into the highest bidder business anymore

Im actually of the belief that neither Machado or Harper end up in the Bronx, even as everyones speculates at least one of them will be

Looks to me like it's June 7th.

There are no MVP frontrunners on June 7th.

So we can establish on June 7 that Gary Sanchez, after missing a month this season, is Miguel Montero, and thatt Judge is destined to be Richie Sexson

But we cant discuss who is having great years

Good stuff

LOL

I honestly believe Severino is the ACE of this staff, he is 22 so the ups and downs are expected this season, but recently much more consistency...But i think his stuff translates into something special

Montgomery will be a mainstay, possibly a Pettitte type, which means a mid 3's, low 4's guy

Chance Adams minor league numbers are just insanely silly right now, so I think he will be here this season, but definitely next season

I could see those 3 being guys they build around, with Tanaka and maybe even CC still hanging around.......And than after 2018, thats when they will probably be looking at Keuchel and guys like that
Okay so Luis Severino and question marks. Sounds good to me.

Not saying "everyone on the team."

Just "the infield."

And not saying "sucks."

Just not very good.

Greg Bird hit .100 before he got hurt. You've got him penciled in for a batting title when he gets back.
Starlin Castro is a career .218 hitter before this season. I expect a course correction. You don't?
Didi Gregorious is a defensive specialist with 2,000 previous major league plate appearances that say ".255 hitter with no power"
Chase Headley looks great.

Look, I won't begrudge you for being surprisingly pleased at the first 50+ games of the season.

But earlier today you yourself described the Yankee season as "slipping away"

Why are you so hesitant to speak out about any players if you're perfectly fine with speaking out about the team?

Sure, I look at most staffs the same way......Sale is awesome, so once Prices' elbow falls off, "Sale and pray for rain" awaits

If they wanted to, the Yankees could turn any team's lights out in free agency. It's not even close.

And that pesky reigning Cy Young award winner.

Oh and the guy that shut down the Yankees awesome infield and MVP frontrunner last night.

Starling Castro isnt a .218 career hitter

Didi Gregorious is everything in the power department that you wish Xander Boegarts was

Youre all over the place with sample sizes

Judges' first 50 games of MVP caliber baseball mean squat

Birds' 2 weeks' of batting .100 dictate who he is

I'll take the Sox rotation for the next 3 years over the Yankees rotation for the next 3 years.
