The belief that players automatically become Gods when they take PEDs is pretty silly.

I literally don't know anyone that believes that.

Conversely, the notion that they don't help is just as silly. I love to pick apart the nonsense about "you still have to hit the ball."

My favorite player was Carlos Baerga. I loved how he played the game. Plus hitting HRs from both sides of the plated against the Yankees in Yankee Stadium was pretty awesome.

After he left, Jim Thome became my favorite player. My favorite non-Indian was Tony Gwynn. Gwynn was the best natural hitter I ever saw. This became more apparent later in his career when he wasn't, well, too slim anymore.

My favorite current players are Lindor and Kluber. My favorite non-Indians are David Wright and Jose Altuve.

this guy makes my all-time 3rd baseman…the reasons are epic.

...and i don't even care about this stat either.

"It is Hall of Fame third baseman Brooks Robinson who, remarkably, hit into four triple plays in a sequence of 10 seasons before Weaver replaced Hank Bauer."

Ppl don't realize that in Gywnns last 2 years, when he was 40/41 and only played a little over 100 games because of injuries, he still hit .323 and .324 in those two years, that's incredible.

Hank Aaron... He could do it all, hit for average, hit with power, run the bases and play great defense.

Keep posting like this and I might have to reevaluate you.
Hank is THE man, and a hell of a good man to boot.

He's a Cub. I grew up with him. He played the game the right way. He hit for average. He hit for power. He was clutch. His defense was otherworldly.

I still remember the Sandberg game back in 84 vs the Cards on a Saturday afternoon........just like it was yesterday.
One of thee greatest games I ever watched.......

Ryno.......One of the alltime great Cub players......

I think they had already given the MVP of the game to Willie McGee

Bugs Bunny

He was able to play all 9 positions in the field. He was able to strike out the side with one pitch. He could routinely hit mammoth homeruns out of the park or leg out homers inside the park. He once scored 96 runs in a game by himself.

Baseball_Bugs_003-550w.jpg

That was one helluva catch to give Bugs the win, the hold and the save.

man that Bugs could really throw a change-up..............

My favorite player of all-time...........just look at my sign-in name.........It very well could be the greatest pitching performance in major league history of the 20 strikeout game.

The guy was on fire that day.........:

Favorite Minor Leaguer I ever saw was Corey Patterson.

Dude was incredible. The total package.

Never quite turned the corner like I thought he would in the majors. But man was he ever fun to watch as a kid.

Corey was labeled a real pick to click at the time, as I recall. I guess there are a lot of them.
