I would argue it was his teams style of football and personnel as opposed to him that made Stanford successful. To each his own.
I could see that. But Coach GQ's record at Texas Tech wasn't too swift. But that style you referenced may have contributed to some of it.

Stanford might go back to the pre Harbaugh days

Stanford did two things extraordinarily well when they were rolling. Recruit offensive line, and then play more than 5 of them at a time. They'd tinker with the splits, run out 7 good linemen because they were that deep and run most teams out off the field. Obviously they had other good players, especially in the secondary and linebacker groups, but when the world went spread option, they went power and it worked because people were recruiting the other direction. Most teams didn't run out 350 pound NT's because against half the teams they played, they'd get hurry upped to death.

Well scheduling also helped them massively. Most teams played them either right prior or right after Oregon. You can’t get any polar opposite than that. It’s kind of like how USC gets a favored schedule as opposed to UCLA where if they are playing the NW schools or the Mountain schools on the road USC gets them in September or early October as opposed to UCLA who gets to experience snow and rain storms.

Changes in their grad school application process. It's now very tough to remain on the team if you've already graduated.

I can't help but smile a little bit. This could knock Stanford down a peg.

Stanford wouldn't be Stanford if they cared about football enough to make it easier for players who graduated to stay.

They can come to LSU and get an online Master's degree like Joe Burrow did!

Really man? Calling out Asians like that

Asians go to school to go to school. It’s the opposite of all these players who go to school but don’t go to play school. It’s not a rip on Asians, I’d give a left nut to have their work ethic.

Fuck no, I dare you to go up to some Chinese or Japanese fucker and say they are same. You are better sending your kids to Jerry Sandusky or Michael Jackson (in the 90’s) than walking away without an injury.
