The answer to my question would be hell yes if that was the biggest piece to the trade I would make it. Granted as a seahawks fan cap wise it would be impossible to trade for him. would have been cool with letting Kearse walk in free agency last season and replace him with Gordon....I wouldn't know how long he would last in seattle with weed being legal but anyway.

Some teams that would be interesting to see Gordon play on IMO if they used their second to get him

Atlanta, Dallas, Carolina or New England

SO would you want your team to use a second on Josh Gordon?

No. He's had drug and attitude problems. Rumor here in New England is that Belichick is thinking about offering a 4th Round conditional pick.

Gordon has an absolute ton of talent, but has never been able to put it all together for a full season.

A year with a better than average quarterback and a better than average team might turn him totally around. Then again, he might implode.

The Lions could not afford to.

If Gordon gets caught doing Bong Hits in a crack den with Johnny Manzell the team losses Gordon and their 2nd round pick. A team like Seattle, New England, or Carolina could get away with that. Any team .500 or below not so much.

Then there's the shorter version. Fuck no.

If the NFL stopped suspending players for weed or if there could be a guarantee Gordon would never get suspended for weed, then hell yeah.

But, for now, no. Like Detroit, the Texans can't be giving away draft picks for players who might not make it through half a season.

Hell, we do a good enough job of drafting those types on our own!

Nope. Imagine the guard or centre we could draft with a 2nd rounder.

Yes. He and Cooper would be awesome with Crabtree as the 3rd WR.

How do you figure? He's only scheduled to make 800k this year.

I want to say I heard the other day that he has played 38 games in his career and has been suspsended for 34. I'd absolutely love to have Josh Gordon on my team but I couldn't part with a 2nd rounder for him. Maybe if he can make it through a season without weed but not right now.

Dez White and Gordon would be sick. I guarantee Garrett would be having Romo throw it 45-50 times a game.

That wouldn't be smart with their O line and that shiny new RB toy.

Nobody ever accused Garrett of being smart......now have they?

Definitely not. Throughout college and the pros he has not demonstrated that he has any interest in getting his act together.
I don't think they will get anything higher than a sixth round pick for him

Then they should clearly give up two firsts for him.

Not sure why they drafted Elliott and signed Morris......it's going to be an interesting depth chart at RB. They have 3 guys that could all start.

Josh Gordon: 35 games, 2754 yards, 78.68 yards per game played.
Cheap in 2016 and a RFA in 2017.
