No you didn't. ESPN has not supported a move involving the ACC. They don't want to support the ACC because the SEC Network is gonna kill anything the weak ass ACC wants to put out. ESPN cannot afford to continue losing money on a piss poor conference like the ACC.

Sorry....

take a breath.......read through the thread......I posted links from both CBS & ESPN which reported that the new ACC contract pays 20 mill per school (articles published several months AFTER that link you posted)

The grant of rights coincides with the ACC's TV deal with ESPN through the 2026-27 season. That deal was worth $17 million per school per year, but sources told ESPN last year it is expected to increase to at least $20 million per school per year with the addition of Notre Dame.

CHAPEL HILL: Emails show UNC doubts about ACC after Maryland’s departure | North Carolina | NewsObserver.comhttp://http://www.newsobserver.com/2013/10/10/3270145/emails-unc-worried-about-acc-when.html

Joe Frierson, a financial adviser from Athens, Ga., and a former UNC tennis player and assistant tennis coach, wrote Cunningham on Dec. 7, 2012, about a lunch meeting Frierson had with an SEC athletic director.

“He said the SEC pays out around $20 (million per) team right now,” Frierson wrote. “Thinks it will approach $35 (million per team) when TV contract is renegotiated in a couple of years.

“He said the SEC just signed a contract for the Sugar Bowl (between teams from the SEC and Big 12) for 2015 that will pay $40 (million) to each conference. … That is ridiculous money.”

Cunningham’s response was short and direct: “It really concerns me. If these trends continue I’m not sure how the ACC (can) compete financially.”

The ACC expects Notre Dame's full membership in all sports but football and hockey -- with five guaranteed football games per year -- to earn each school more than $1 million per year in media rights revenue, according to two league sources.

so i guess what was reported april 9th 2013 by one major source is more accurate than what gets reported on april 22nd by every major source including the source from april 9th that changed its story after gathering new information

:doh::L:doh:

the amount of denial here is starting to reach evolution/bible belt levels

Do you want more links citing how much weaker the ACC is than the Big 12?

I can go on and on and on... Or, you can go away.

It is up to you...

why bother you just continue to reject reality every time i post a link showing how much the acc makes.

the ACC has a $27.5 orange bowl tie in starting next year and $22 mill for having a conference championship game.

lemme check my math but $49.5 mill/14 > $40 million/10.......

that comes down to only a 500,000k advantage for the b12. which is neglible difference at best and the ACC championship game will only increase in value per year while the champions bowl is a flat 40 mill each year.........

yeah cut the bullcrap dude

And, while you want to cite speculation of revenue, I provide the TRUTH.

REAL facts and reported revenues.

http://http://www.sportingnews.com/ncaa-football/story/2013-05-31/sec-revenue-distribution-big-12-mike-slive-bob-bowlsby-tv-bowls

once again you suck at posting links. this is the 3rd or 4th time i have gotten an error.

but lemme guess.....you are using the good ole "we made the most revenue from last year" argument.

well lemme bring you back down to reality. the only reason that happened is because

TCU/wvu received only half shares that year. That essentially means the figure had a 10% bump from the actual payout. the REAL number was under 20 mill not the 22 mil that the b12 cited. plus theres the whole including the once in a lifetime 9 bowl teams aspect of it.......

My iPad may have trouble posting links. But, anyone with half a brain could figure out how to copy and paste the address, and not sound like a whiny stupid shit by crying over a poor link.

The links you provide appear to tie the increase revenue for ACC teams to the ACC network. I read today reports that this network may never make the airwaves. Therefore, the ACC would be stuck with $17 million per school.

Many of the ACC schools are in such poor shape they may not be able to afford providing stipends to student athletes.

There is a reason Maryland bolted the conference.
