Vikings: Christian Ponder (2011-2014)
Cowboy fans will understand this.

Where is WFRYE?

Yah I don't get the Ponder hate. He was a 2nd round prospect at best but everyone that year took QBs WAY early because of the new CBA cheap QB contracts.

His 2nd season wasn't HORRIBLE (although Peterson did have his 2K season) but winning at home against the Packers is a tall order for any 2nd year QB in the playoffs... of which he didn't even play. They marched good ol' Webb out there lawlz. Tough choice for the Packers. Basically just pick the run Tecmo Bowl style and call it a day.

Then his 3rd season he got injured and Minnesota was just like, "F*** this guy." Leslie Frazier was also a complete dumbass head coach.

This WFRYE Character wanted Dallas to draft him so bad that year, of course every year he demanded Romo must be dumped.

I'd go Gelbaugh and McGwire.

McGwire gets the nod, given who Knox wanted to take instead (Favre)

I thought Stan showed some heart though... He actually played a couple decent games considering the circumstance he was under... And I know man, McGwire instead of Favre... mother of god...

I am sure he wasn't the worst but. . .

I am a Wisconsin fan as well as a Packer fan. I had to suffer through 2 years of Scott Tolzien and thought "thank God that is over with". Then Aaron Rodgers gets hurt two years ago and who the fuck do we trot out?

I just about lost my goddamn mind.

I was relatively young, but I remember Cliff Stoudt being worse. Perhaps it was the letdown after the Bradshaw era... Regardless, quite the low point in Steeler QB history in the Super Bowl era.

@Gooch1034

The run from Bradshaw to Maddox was the dark period...and largely why Cowher will always be a beloved figure in PIT...he endured some awful QB play as well, but brought the Steelers out of the dark period.

David Woodley, Malone, Stoudt, Brister, were all trying to live up to a legend and it was just too much...O'Donnell would probably still have trouble buying a beer in the Burg!

@Gooch1034 lets not leave out kordell stewart (slash), it was tough being a steeler fan in those years I never under stood what coach seen in that idiot .:L:gaah:

Slash wasn't terrible (just plain bad) in the little time he spent as the starter...I wanna say they actually played some playoff games with him...he just never should've been playing QB in the NFL.

Ironic..he lives here in ATL now and spent some time doing sportstalk radio...(he wasn't very good at that either) but he always spoke fondly of his time in the Steel City.

What? No Jeff George for Indy.

Perhaps because this?
Colts director of operations Bill Tobin, the man who drafted Harbaugh for the Bears, sent George to the Falcons for the seventh pick in the first round of the April 24 draft plus a third-round pick this year and a second-round pick in 1996 that could increase to a first-rounder if George plays in 75 percent of nine victories in 1995.
Colts Deal George, Eye Harbaugh

Agree. Stoudt was much worse than Malone.

Can't blame you for that, but I really don't think they ever expected him to start @ QB...but having said that...O'Donnell is still my least liked Steelers QB....that team was good enough to win that SB game if he didn't blow it.

It really should be Weeden for Cleveland. Quinn never got a fair shake IMO, but at least he had more TDs than TOs. In two seasons, Weeden gave us 23 TDs, 26 INTs and 9 (FUCKING NINE) fumbles. He was atrocious.
