Bill Paxton is intolerable and makes every movie he's been in significantly worse the moment he opens his whiny dunghole. I wish Arnold would've actually Terminated him in 1984.

He was pretty good in Frailty.

Kind of liked Bill in Aliens. And he was quite the irritating brother in Weird Science.

To me, he was quite the irritating everything in every movie he appeared. The irritance built with Weird Science, but the movie that sent me over the edge with him was Twister. I have not seen a single movie he's been in since Twister because I simply can't stand his acting or characters.

I refuse to watch newer Sandler movies, for the most part, but Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer, Billy Madison and Grandma's Boy(<-----produced) are fucking great. Classics forever.

That's another one of those post-Twister flicks I've avoided. I'll take your word for it.

When you've eaten something you subsequently vomit back out, that food is typically henceforth repulsive. So it is with Bill Paxton's acting.

Here's a few not mentioned..

Brendan Fraser - just the worst

Hayden Christensen - should be flogged for Star Wars

Jeff Goldblum - perfect if yer casting a Jewy scientist

Paul Walker - Too soon?

David Caruso

It's a Broken Lizard picture. I'd watch those guys eating cereal, filmed with a 16mm, Blair Witch-style.

Yeah, I can't put Sandler in the worst category either. To me, if you like some movies he's in, that kinda disqualifies him from being the worst and Happy Gilmore and Grandma's Boy are two of my favorite comedies of all time.

I went with Cage because he actually tries to be good.

The comedians and the action stars are not really trying to be good actors. That isn't their thing.

That means that of the ones listed, I only considered...

Cage
Reeves
Trevolta
Affleck
Shatner
Slater

Shatner became a joke of himself, and he played into that, so I don't think he counts.

Affleck has actually gotten a LOT better. So he, at least, has gone in the right direction.

I actually kinda like Slater. No Oscar contender, but fun.

Between Reeves, Cage and Trevolta, you can't really go wrong. I went with Cage because he started SOOO good, and has become an absolute joke. In Face/Off, he acted circles around Trevolta. It was quite glaring. Then Cage did Con Air, National Treasure, Sorcerers Apprentice, Left Behind, etc. all some of the most embarrassingly acted movies of all time.

Goldblum ranks right under Paxton in my Intolerable Actors list.

Christensen is also high on the list, but I haven't really seen him in anything other than SW II & SW III, so I can't really call him the worst. He was thoroughly awful in those two, especially II, but so was pretty much every other actor in I-III because George Lucas was absolutely horrible at writing the dialog they had to act against.

Goldblum is what he is. He is good at his niche, so he doesn't qualify, IMHO.

Walker was a semi-action star, so he doesn't qualify either.

The others are spot-on, though. I couldn't watch a single episode of CSI:Miami just because of Caruso. His mannerisms literally made me angry.

A Jewy scientist?
