Choice should be very clear by now. Wilson has that mentality where he shines under the pressure. Kaep just folds.

One hit wonder Kaep.

The debate is over. With the Whiner fans burning Kap in effigy right now, I doubt any will come over to disagree... well until their next win, that is.

Russell RAT 98.1 YDS 1,845 TD 15

Colin RAT 87.6 YDS 1,584 TD 9

Russell has more rushing yards while Colin ran for two more TD's. Niners have had a bye week but I like what Russell has done stats wise as well his being a leader, being clutch and his other intangibles that he brings to a team I think he's a much better QB.

Also Russell is in his second season Colin is in his third and will demand big money sooner than Russell will which is going to hurt both clubs cap situations when these guys get paid.

I'll even update those stats:

Wilson 163-257 2132 17-6 101.8 70-395-1
Kaep 129-230 1753 9-6 82.8 53-310-3

Still too early. These guys are both so young. Their respective NFL careers can go anywhere in any direction.

But specifically speaking RIGHT NOW, this NFL season alone, Wilson has the edge? Put the ball in Wilson's hand today under the same situation and I think Wilson would make a good attempt out of it imo.

If we're talking careers, which is ultimately what really matters, then it's too early. As far as this year goes, Wilson has played better than Kaepernick, no question about it. However, it's hard to say if Wilson would've pulled this game out if he were the Niners QB. Maybe, but he would've had to deal with a ferocious pass rush while having limited receiving targets, especially after the only deep threat, Vernon Davis, had to leave the game early. I do think that Wilson is quicker in small spaces than Kaep, so maybe he would've handled the pressure better. I'd say that Wilson would have given the Niners a better chance today, but it is far from clear that the Niners would have won, unless Wilson could've have convinced the Niners' coaching staff to run the ball more.

I don't know how you can confuse me with Robotic Dreams. That guy has a disturbing avatar, while I don't even have an avatar. Anyway, I'm as big of a Russell Wilson fan as a Niner fan can be and I've never before called him a midget. I hope we beat him, but no sports fan can deny he is a great story. He's fun to watch because the defense thinks they've got him, but they don't and he gets away (often times because they can't see him or because they have to bend down too low to grab him).

The rest of the NFL caught up with krapernick and have exposed him as a poor passer with no touch, no ability to read a defense, and no cool under pressure.

He has a very strong arm and runs like a deer though.

Judging by some of your fellow Niners fans, they're ready to bring back Alex Smith and dump Keap on the side of the road. I'm not ready to say Keap's star is ready to set but Wilson looks by far the better QB at the moment.

Kaep has phenomenal athletic ability but I think Wilson has more upstairs. I'd love to see how well Kaepernick would hold his composure staring at a 21 point deficit.

While Kaep is cruising around in sports cars and banging Kim Kardashian wannabes with his Dolphins hat on Wilson is in the film room working his ass off to try and find ways to improve his game.

Watch last years Super Bowl. Down 22 following the 2nd half kickoff he almost brought them back. I think that showed he has more than enough composure to get it done.

Wilson has the calm factor regardless of the situation… Kaep is more emotional and things seem to get into his head… He has ability though and possibly with experience can improve there, BUT you never know.. Some guy's just never shake getting nervous when the pressure is on… I don't think Kaep would a survived long behind our O-line this year with all the injuries…

He did play well in the NFC title game and the Super Bowl… I give him credit there.. But it was also a new experience for him and the moment maybe didn't hit him like it might now… There is more pressure now with higher expectations…. Yesterday while the receivers didn't help him much, he still panicked and made questionable decisions because for the first time in 5 weeks he got pressured by a good pass rush…

True, but would he have been able to make that comeback without having that 40 min stoppage of play to get regrouped? It's hard to say.

Kaep went 5-2 as a starter in the regular season last year
Kaep went 2-1 in the playoffs last year
Kaep is now 6-3 this year.
Next week will only be his 20th game. It was foolish for people to on his jock coming into this year and its just as foolish to think the kid is trash now. The niners are doing just fine with him but he still has a lot of growing to do. Maybe once he gets as much experience as Wilson under his belt, he won't suck so much.

Something about Kaepernick just does nothing for me,i dont see that special something many top QB's have.
Same with RG3 both of them rely far too much on pure athleticism but RG3 and i said this in early 2012 looks injury prone, the way he walks and his hips are just screamed it.

Wilson has that "it" feel and so does Luck.

I rate Kaep average or just above,RG3 above average but little shelf life.
