And yes this is a serious question. Here is their schedule the rest of the way:

1 vs Baltimore
3 vs Detroit
4 vs KC
3 AT LAA
3 AT SEA
3 VS MIN
3 VS CHW

yes. it doesn't matter who's pitching, even the best pitchers can have an off day or have a bunch of balls find holes. there's plenty of luck involved in baseball.

its why as good as the Indians look- id say they are definitely the favorites to get to the World Series--- but AT BEST id say its 60%.....its just baseball....stuff happens.

Yeah, they probably will. Once they clinch the Central they probably start sitting players.

No way they make it past the Angels on the road without dropping a game. I'm not sure if they make 20.

they got a great chance at 20 considering they play the awful Tigers at home with Carrasco and Kluber on the mound the next 2 games

then again- its baseball.

Carrasco and Kluber are facing scrubs, are at home, the Tigers are terrible- they dealt their best pitcher and hitter---- but shit happens.

Now that it is on the verge of becoming the longest streak ever if they sweep the next series, I'm sure Detroit is foaming at the mouth to be the one to end it.

I'm not sure either, but with their two best pitchers, Carrasco and Kluber, starting against a triple-A team at home tonight and tomorrow night respectively, they've got a damn good shot.

Anything can happen, but they don't have a game that they're not heavily favored to win until they hit Anaheim.

Yeah, not to mention the Tigers already represent 4 of the 18 wins from earlier this month. If the Indians happen to sweep this series, the Tigers will have been on the receiving end of a third of the Indians' win streak.

They've got to be pretty motivated to end this. Then again, motivated isn't synonymous with capable.

Their best pitcher is having surgery on his elbow tomorrow.

How many these Tigers were on the roster then?

I'm kinda serious. This wouldn't even be a good AAA team.

I feel bad for you, man.

However, you know who I wish was around for this? MiamiVice. I bet we could whip up a meltdown of biblical proportions.

I'd like to think he's watching this at the homeless shelter/Clevelander. Thinking this Jaye scrub has a bright future.

Wonder what Detroits average age is currently....
