FSU had a bowl game taken away by the NC two a years ago so their lead ended awhile back. VTs is in limbo too though. VT will probably schedule a game after Virginia if it comes down to it too to make up for the ECU wash out so that won't hith their chances.

Problem is they can’t reschedule any games because they didn’t get any games rained out. Unsure if they will need the NCAA to come in and give special approval for their FCS win again.

Well it matters because people view ranked wins as being better than beating unranked teams. So when you are comparing Michigan vs Oklahoma at the end of the season, people argue the team with more ranked wins deserves it more than the other.

When you play a team does matter. Florida's season ended after the Cocktail Party, and these are a bunch of Jim McElwain recruits, so they're gonna quit on the season now because they're weak minded pussies.

VTs ECU game got rained out the week before the ODU game via hurricane Florence.... But yea FSU is fucked and VT ain't far from it themselves

Nah, 5-7 schools have to qualify academically. Not convinced FSU could pull that off.

eeesh, they had a 941 APR last year. You are right, it's less likely they get in at 5-7 than most of the other schools given it goes in order of APR.
