Will Florida State make a bowl game this year?

Serious question. Seems some of their fans are feeling much better about themselves after beating a crappy Louisville team that got blown out the week before by Virginia. Virginia, not VT.

At 3-2 I'm sure some are also feeling more relieved that at least a crappy bowl is still in play, but do you see more than two wins against the rest of this slate?

I was prepared to say yes until seeing this

For how bad the ACC is, this is about as tough as the schedule gets in that conference

No, I ranked them top 15 in my preseason poll.

They just aren’t good. They started out 2-5 last year. That OL is a complete disaster. This is not a quick fix. I am not a huge fan of the coach, but that guy took over a dumpster fire

Not sure they will have much of a choice if they win 3-4 games. Petrino is not exactly a sympathetic figure that the fans rally behind.

They started last year 2-5 and managed to make a bowl game. At this point, until they have lost a 7th game, i will continue to believe they make a bowl.

That being said, thats a brutal stretch of games with five of the next seven being against current top 25 ranked teams.

Miami Loss - 28-27. Miami played terrible, but FSU found a way to play more terribler.

Worse. That's a demoralizing loss. Up 20 with 20 minutes to go and can't even manage a field goal the last 20 minutes.

Plus their entire campus is closed this week with the impending hurricane (not sure how that affects the football team/game)

Edit: it's a bye week this coming week but still can't be a positive

Florida State fans as a whole generally travel very poorly so some bowls might not pick them opposed to other P5 schools that travel better

We are talking about a 6-6 team. I'm not sure you will find a bigger program with 5-6 losses this year though.
