Why all the SEC hype?

Exactly my point. If teams from the sec are winning every year that's fine, you shouldn't overrate the whole conference because there are a couple good teams. There are really only one..maybe two teams in the sec this year that are head and shoulders better than most of the country.

I wouldn't lose sleep facing any of these teams. I think ohio state can beat them all

Well, they are the only conference with 4 loss teams in the top 25.

And let's examine those 2 4 loss teams...

Texas A&M - 3 losses against the top 5 all within a touchdown, all 4 losses against the top 15
Georgia - 2 wins over the top 15 (that's twice as many wins as the Big 10 Championship Game participants or the ACC Championship Game participants have over the top 25 combined just in case you were wondering)

Show me 4 loss teams with similar resumes.

What teams are unranked that you think would unquestionably beat either of these teams more than 50 times out of 100.

BUt UGA beat 2 ranked teams and lost to 3 SEC teams and Clemson!!! ( OK forget Clemson that one isnt so good....) but they beat 2 ranked teams!!! ( OK forget the loss to Vandy too, that one isnt that great either...) but they beat 2 ranked teams!!! ( OK so they got blown out by Mizzou so thats not good either...) but they beat 2 ranked teams!!!

What does Auburn going 0-8 last season and now in the conference title game have anything to do with schedule strength?

The Chiefs went 2-14 last season and are 9-3 now. Does this speak to the crappiness of the NFL?

i don't mean to come off sounding like an Alabama fan but Georgia's roster was a shell of itself after the Tennessee game. I believe UGA beats Mizzou with the roster from the clemson or lsu game. Two freshman tailbacks? and one of them is white. (racist much?) LOL

the Vandy game there was no excuse. yes the targeting calls helped Vandy tremendously.

Plenty of teams have made it, but all have failed against the SEC. Maybe i am missing something, but didnt Texas play an SEC team in the title game? I seem to remember that game if I'm not mistaken...oh well my memories not what it used to be.

Would that it were, but sadly FSU is going to easy dismantle Duke and that will be it for Bama. Best we can hope for is one of the many BCS bowls looking for a team who's fans travel well and dont mind paying for a chance to see its team play.

What does ohio state losing to Florida and LSU in back to back title games have to do with this season? Nothing. But SEC media trolls sure like to use it against us this season..
