Guessing this is a huge loss for Adidas.
I think Notre Dame has been upset that they were no longer Adidas' number 1 priority when they signed Michigan to the largest apparel deal in like 2008.

Notre Dame is one of the teams that never need to change their uniform scheme. USC, PSU, Michigan, Alabama, Texas, Nebraska, Ohio State and a few others. You shouldn't mess with iconic uni's like these. EVER.

Yep. I think this is further proof that ND today isn't anything remotely like the ND of 25 years ago.

But it's not entirely their fault. Money rules this sumbich called collegiate athletics, and if sports apparel makers say, "we're going to provide your uniforms, and they're going to look like this" then the school smiles and nods and says thank you.

Lol wat? ND wears an alt once every year during the Shamrock series, they dictate what happens, not the apparel company. UA was obviously dying to sign them considering they're the biggest name they have in college sports by far. Also, ND was second in revenue earned this year, so it's been a long fall I guess. :heh:

I have no idea what you're talking about.

Notre Dame is not told what to do. And our uniforms are still the classic look. It's an honor for the company to get Notre Dame, not the other way around. Notre Dame's arrogance is what made the final decision.

Notre Dame signed that Adidas deal in like 1997 or some shit.

We were the biggest name wearing Adidas, then Michigan got a deal pretty recently, which was a bigger deal than ND's, and ND being as arrogant as they are, decided to stick it to Adidas.

Adidas is fucked if Michigan ever decides to go back to Nike.

Heh heh...

Over the past dozen years, we're better than you guys. That's how far you've fallen.

Sir, at least we've had the honor of getting blown out in 4 BCS bowls, I'm on page ten of my google search "South Carolina BCS bowl history," and it's looking bleak. Even in ND's worst years, your program still can't touch us. That's embarrassing. Shit talk IU football to me, that's more on Scar's level.

Yep.....more topics that actually mean something; Golson's return, Daniels suspended, TJ, nix, tuitt, Niklas, Calo, fox, Martin, and Atkinson are gone for the NFL. Freshman and sophomores starting everywhere on the 2014 team.

I think it is great for the Notre Dame fans. The grey uniforms will match the hair color of the fans who can still remember the last time they were national Champs.

Under armour seems like such a 3rd rate brand, with schools like Texas Tech and Maryland. Shoot, maryland is forced to wear them since the owner is a big booster. Adidas does make ugly football uni's though, so its probably a wash. Too bad Notre dame can't join the big leagues (nike)
