And they don't have to because they have quality competition in state. You ignore the question given because you don't want to admit the answer.

Let me know how much leaving state changes the difficulty of the opponent.
Talk about Ignoring...

How many True Rivalries started in 1958 because State Government forced the School to Play?
How many True Rivalries have only played 6 times in the last 30 years?

Rivalries my ass....

Let's not forget that the more prestigious your program, the more likely teams will be coming to your house WAY more often than you go to theirs.

OR another way to say it "we will pay you good money to bring your scrub ass to our house so 80-100k of our fans can pay to watch a non-competitive game"

Except Florida has played Miami exactly 6 times since 1988. It's not like they are playing them every year.

But they play Florida St every year, so that means 6 times they played their SEC schedule and then Florida St and Miami on top of it.

Florida has NO In State Rival.

Florida State you ONLY play because the State Government FORCED YOUR SCHOOL TO PLAY THEM.
Miami you Dropped like Cowards when they become Good.

Rivalries are NOT Dropped, nor Forced Upon a School.

So this means Alabama and Auburn aren't rivals? Either that's news to me, or you are full of shit.

Because that game was dropped and only appeared again because the state government forced it.

Auburn is also the only other school in the state of Alabama we play. We do not play other teams from Alabama and the only reason we would is if forced like Auburn.

You cited two national championship programs they have to play. I have merely said that is false since one of said programs they have only played 6 times. An at least one of those was in a bowl game.

Plus we are not talking conference schedules, just ooc. Thanks in advance.

This is complete BULLSHIT!

Does OU HAVE an OOC in-state rival? NO
Does Texas HAVE an OOC in-state rival? NO
Does OSU HAVE an OOC in-state rival? NO
Does USC HAVE an OOC in-state rival? NO
Does Michigan HAVE an OOC in-state rival? NO
Does Oregon HAVE an OOC in-state rival? NO
Does Nebraska HAVE an OOC in-state rival? NO
Does VT HAVE an OOC in-state rival? NO
Does Washington HAVE an OOC in-state rival? NO

So all you bitching is because UF has something you don't have? It's called rival envy!
Did Texas AM leave the state when the left the Big12? I'm pretty sure Texas and them are/were rivals.

And instead of scheduling another in state game and using the Florida excuse, we're traveling to LA to play USC.

I see you clingin'...but it's time to give it up. Just get the fuck out of there before you're the last fairly normal thinking person in the entire state of CA.

It's why Michigan and Ohio State are bigger rivals than Auburn and Alabama. They actually want to play each other and beat the other, not because they have to play.

I don't know man. When you're 1-11 over the last 12, and 2-13 over the past 15 you're more in bitch slapped mode than rivalry mode.

Off Season/Nothing to do/Looked up shit
From the end of WWII 1946 thru 2015 (69 years).
Thought that a long time frame would give a better idea as to who is doing what.
Total Games Played will be affected by #of games per season, Bowl Invites, CCG's.

Home Games/School/Hm Field Winning%/Total Games/Total Wins

449/Tennessee/74.4%/814/534
448/Michigan/76.5%/784/546
433/Ohio State/80.6%/783/584
421/Nebraska/76.6%/821/570
428/Alabama/**/833/597 **
405/USC/74.6%/810/553
403/West Virginia/68.7/791/468
400/Penn State/78.9/794/570
384/Georgia/75.7%/815/531
382/Florida/77.1%/808/519
379/Oklahoma/84.0%/817/617
378/Texas/78.2%/811/567

From Top to Bottom there is an average of 1 extra Home Game per year.
I looked at these teams because for the most part they could pick and choose who and where they played.
I don't think anyone would argue that Home Games are more comfortable and are easier to win than those which are played away from home.

To me, it looks like the biggest Mama's Boys, even though playing the most home games, haven't translated that into total wins. Home Field Advantage is real and it accounts for an average of 6%-12% increase in winning percentage when calculated fairly.

I didn't have time to look up any more so feel free to post them.***

I guess you can please more of your fans if you play more teams at home.
That's the only reasonable explanation there really is.
Being Mama's Boys and trying to play at home as much as you can comes to mind.

**Alabama is hard to figure with their supposed "Neutral Field" play in Birmingham so take that for what it's worth.
***I probably fucked some things up so fuck off.

OU, Texas, Florida, and Georgia are skewed because they play their rivalry games at a neutral site every year. Add about 35 home games to each of their numbers and they're in line with most everyone else at the 400+ mark.

Is that why Florida (Gators) hasn't left the state of Florida, to play a regular season OOC football game since 1991?
That is funny. After 26 years the Florida Gators decides to leave the state of Florida to play a regular season OOC game in Texas, against Michigan. :pound::pound::pound:

And even then they schedule a neutral game. Still no road OCC game away from the state of Florida since 91. lol
