I didn't count prior to 2012 because you weren't in a P5 conference.

2012 - you played...Maryland, Marshall and FCS.
2013 - Maryland and 2 FCS.*
2014 - Alabama, Maryland and FCS.
2015 - Maryland and 2 FCS.*
2016 - Maryland, Mizzou, FCS.

* 1 of those FCS may be a FBS team that just transfered from FCS, too lazy to look up the year they switched.

So, Maryland isn't even remotely close to being a tough game, the way FSU is.

The only tough opponent you've played in the OOC over the past 5 years was Alabama once. So maybe you should schedule a little more difficult before you decide to put down other teams that are playing a much tougher schedule every single year.

Because that game was dropped and only appeared again because the state government forced it.

Auburn is also the only other school in the state of Alabama we play. We do not play other teams from Alabama and the only reason we would is if forced like Auburn.

They resumed it because they were going to pass things to punish the schools if they didn't resume the game. Not sure what you are quoting, but I'm betting if you had read further it would have mentioned it - because as your quote says, they didn't give a shit about it because it wasn't law - but what was coming next was.

I'm wanting to say they were going to remove funding and stuff like that, but it's been awhile and I can't remember 100%.

Auburn would probably be another Troy without the game.

OU, Texas, Florida, and Georgia are skewed because they play their rivalry games at a neutral site every year. Add about 35 home games to each of their numbers and they're in line with most everyone else at the 400+ mark.
