Off Season/Nothing to do/Looked up shit
From the end of WWII 1946 thru 2015 (69 years).
Thought that a long time frame would give a better idea as to who is doing what.
Total Games Played will be affected by #of games per season, Bowl Invites, CCG's.

Home Games/School/Hm Field Winning%/Total Games/Total Wins

449/Tennessee/74.4%/814/534
448/Michigan/76.5%/784/546
433/Ohio State/80.6%/783/584
421/Nebraska/76.6%/821/570
428/Alabama/**/833/597 **
405/USC/74.6%/810/553
403/West Virginia/68.7/791/468
400/Penn State/78.9/794/570
384/Georgia/75.7%/815/531
382/Florida/77.1%/808/519
379/Oklahoma/84.0%/817/617
378/Texas/78.2%/811/567

From Top to Bottom there is an average of 1 extra Home Game per year.
I looked at these teams because for the most part they could pick and choose who and where they played.
I don't think anyone would argue that Home Games are more comfortable and are easier to win than those which are played away from home.

To me, it looks like the biggest Mama's Boys, even though playing the most home games, haven't translated that into total wins. Home Field Advantage is real and it accounts for an average of 6%-12% increase in winning percentage when calculated fairly.

I didn't have time to look up any more so feel free to post them.***

I guess you can please more of your fans if you play more teams at home.
That's the only reasonable explanation there really is.
Being Mama's Boys and trying to play at home as much as you can comes to mind.

**Alabama is hard to figure with their supposed "Neutral Field" play in Birmingham so take that for what it's worth.

Let's not forget that the more prestigious your program, the more likely teams will be coming to your house WAY more often than you go to theirs.

Only reason Auburn isn't listed is because of all the years nobody would drive out to that shit hole.

I was going to ask about this. Are you counting Legion Field as home games?

If so, are you also counting the Auburn/Iron Bowl as all home for Alabama?

INB4 Auburn fan says all Iron Bowls were home games for Alabama.

Not sure if this list includes "off-campus" home games. Over the years we've taken our act on the road more than most schools. For the last 8-9 years at least one home game has been at a neutral site for the "shamrock series".

Those links didn't work for me.
Be nice to create a list of all teams with the percentage of home games vs. total games played ranked from high to low in that same time frame.
