Tyler Haws...but the NBA doesn't draft real talent.

Okafor, Stanley, Towns

While your nomination was very predictable. Johnson is not a better prospect than Russell at this point.

Both are very good but Russell is dynamic.

Johnson will be a top 5 pick. I like Russell but we are talking NBA. Not college.

Yeah Johnson may well be a top 5 pick. But so will Russell who may even go top 3 if Mudiay doesn't.

I think Russell will be the first one out of this draft class to be an all star

Call me crazy but I'll take Stanley over anyone not named Okafor.

If I were a GM I'd draft in this order:

1) Okafor
2) Johnson
3) Towns
4) Russell

I think all 4 end up playing in the All-Star Game at least a few times in their careers. This draft will produce some franchise-type players.

There are just so many guards in the NBA these days. They're a dime a dozen. Stanley is a physical freak of nature for his age and you can't find too many 6'7' 245 kids like him as polished as he is. He can handle the ball, shot is improving and just knows how to score.

Love Russell, but I don't think his game will translate a great as the other 3. Muidiay scares me a little, high upside but again, take wings and bigs over guards as your franchise player. Always.

Starting point guards with championship rings in the NBA:

Tony Parker: 4
Rajon Rondo: 1
Everyone else: 0

Don't think we need to call you crazy, just a zona fan lol. It's understanble since Johnson is so good but he isn't Russell.

Idk how you can say that his game won't translate. He can shoot excellent, is a freakishly good passer and can rebound while having solid size for a guard and being a lefty. HUGE upside.

Also Towns is already huge and can play fantastic D. Offense will only get better.

You are selling those two short.

I don't see Robinson as a freak of nature. He's got great physical size but if it's as freakish as you say he should be dominating. Russel is a lefty less explosive but better shooting Wade.

Woah, woah, woah… let's get one thing straight, I said it won't translate as well as the other 3 I listed. I do think he'll be a very good NBA player for many years to come. I don't think I'm selling Towns short by listing him as the #3 overall, lol. I think it depends on what position your team needs most if it came down to it though. Okafor has to be #1.

After that, if you need a big take Towns no question. If you're desperate for a wing, take SJ. If your PG position is weak then take Russell. While there's no clear distinction between all of them quite yet, the order I listed was based more off what I project them to do in the NBA. The actual draft order I suspect to be JO-KT-DR-EM-SJ.

Also, with Russell, his #'s get padded thanks to having hardly any other scorers on his team. With a guy like Okafor, Towns or SJ they've all got plenty of talent around them that take away from their chances to get theirs. Especially Towns and Johnson since both teams have upperclassmen and future NBA players filled around them. Okafor is the focus of his offense, though.

Not taking anything away from Russell, but with how deep PG is in the NBA I just wouldn't take him over one of those other 3 guys.

Okafor better hope he gets the same favorable calls in the NBA that he is getting right now. Dude pushes off and throws elbows like no other.

That is also what makes russell impressive. Defenses key in on him and he still scores really efficiently and without many weapons finds a way to get 6 assists a game.

He's also not a prototypical PG he can play of the ball as well. He's the most all around polished of the 4 by far right now. Towns has the most potential. I might be able to get a couple baskets on Okafor.
