How did this turn into a Texas vs Cali hate thread? I've lived in both and both have their pluses and minuses. I love California but I don't miss the smog and congestion. I miss the beaches, mountains and food, though. I hate Texas summers but I like actually having seasons and going down to the Hill Country as well as Austin. No need in bashing either, IMO.

1. House foreclosed
2. Company moved HQ to Texas b/c the California economy is one heaping pile of shit and you had to move to Texas
3. Could no longer afford the overpriced and overrated lifestyle in Cali

These are your 3 main reasons why Cali peeps are moving in droves to the Lone Star State.

Funny thing is, the country goes as Cali goes, not fucking Texas… Texas hasn't suffered to much since 2008, in fact it as grown. ( Due to low wages ) Yet they have made , Little to NO improvement to the nations economy.. Cali will improve and all you nimrods will enjoy to fruits of her labor, again!

It's been a few years since I've been to Texas, but I have loved it every time I've been. I have some good friends in Garland and would move there in a heartbeat.


However, every time I suggest moving there to my wife, I get outvoted 1-1.

The Sec east is anybodies. I put Florida right there with as good or better shot than anyone. You do have Bama from the west on the schedule though. That doesn't help.

I will take the other side. I think the recruiting is excellent, but that takes time to show up. I think on an Xs and Os basis they have downgraded at HC, which will likely show up sooner than later. They did upgrade their recruiting, but it takes awhile for that to materialize.

They won't win the Big 10, but they'll probably come in behind us. I hate James Franklin as a person, but he is a good coach and knows how to use his talent on both sides of the ball. If that game wasn't in "Happy Valley", I wouldn't have picked us losing to them.
