I like the TCU call. They are installing a new offense. The A&M transfer fits the system perfectly. They can play defense. IF Davonte Fields head is one straight, he maybe the best DE in the country. Patterson knows defense, so they will always have a solid unit on that side of the ball. If the offense is just average, they will be quite dangerous.

Bill Snyder will make his system work with whoever he has back there at QB. As long as the defense and special teams are solid as usual under Snyder, K State should be poised for success.

Jake Waters will be the full time starter for K-State. He probably should have been last year. Sams can be explosive but is horribly erratic. Waters has a better arm and is athletic enough to run with it as well.

Sleeper team meaning they are going to do something, not sleep through the season so they can get a head coach who knows what to do with all of the talent that the SCHOOL NAME recruits in.

I like Mississipi State.

That is the team I will be watching closely.

They quietly returned everybody from the core of the defense.

This will be the most talented Bulldog team in years.

Sleeper as in

1. Talented roster
2. New OC
3. No one is talking about them
4. Most of the defense returns
5. If the Oline can pull it together, watch out. Shane Morris tossing the rock and Derrick Green carrying it with Devin Funchess hurdling defenders will be fun to watch.

This may just be the year Hoke can put something together. The potential is there, and they changed their mindset in the offseason to just simply trying to get better, not worrying about that first game of the year yet. Michigan has potential. It just needs to be extracted from them and shown on the field.

A lot of the talk is TCU may be poised to make some noise this year, they are a scary team heading into the season. Probably deserve more respect than they are getting.

I agree with you on this. Last year it seemed as if the only game they prepared for and really tried was the Buckeye game. They have the talent on both sides of the ball to win the B10 and win a playoff game or two. It really depends as you say put something together.

I keep wanting to say UCLA. I really like the Hundley kid and that LB/RB Jack is amazing. So them... I guess. I could also see Wiscy getting over the hump. But yes, I know, some of us say that every year.
