Would be great if Alabama and A&M lost too. Would take care of all the annoying fanbases on the hoop.

Alabama probably won't lose, but TAM is in for a fight. Doesn't matter as all three of those teams are excellent football teams. You simply have a problem with the fact that the SEC year in and year out is the strongest conference who puts more players into the pro ranks. As I stated before, these things go in cycles and the Big1G will have it's turn as well.....just not this year.

I understand they got a big win here tonight, but lets not forget that Arizona needed a miracle hailmary to beat Cal...they beat the University of Texas at San Antonio by 3 points...They beat Nevada by 1 TD.

Oregon has already struggled against Washington St. this season.

Really not trying to take away from a great win by the Wildcats, but I think top 10 is crazy talk. And before anyone says anything, I don't agree with the rankings of some SEC teams either...

So you're saying Arizona is this years Auburn?

And Nevada is actually a solid team. They dominated Washington State for what it's worth... we are the only team that has beat em so far.

They SHOULD be ranked in the top 10.

Over or even with Ole Miss at least.

Actually, not really. To be honest, I don't have a problem with Bama or LSU fans. Aggie fans bother me (as they should bother any sensible person) since they have an incredibly inflated ego since joining the SEC despite a school history of never winning anything. Oregon fans usually irk me a bit because they are often among the most outspoken and it can get annoying.

Before anyone says anything, I know full well that Buckeye fans are hated plenty too. :suds:

I'm good with that...:suds:...Used to be a lot of Gator fans on here, but when times are tough, not so many of us remaining. Speaks volumes.

Not saying that the Cats should or will be top ten, but if you look at some of the other teams in the top 15, they have won some pretty shaky games against non-ranked teams, as well.

I personally don't think that AZ is a top 10 team, but I'm just playing devil's advocate.

will oregon even be ranked when they lose to ucla next week?

Kind of depends on how badly really. A road loss at UCLA that is still close shouldn't push them out of the rankings. Might move them to the upper teens/low 20's. If they lose by 14+ then it is possible they drop out.

I'm putting Arizona in my Top 5 Next week

They currently have the best win of anyone

They should be there but pollsters hold too tight to their preseason rankings, even though on field results differ

Well, after the events of Saturday, there's a very good chance the Cats will be ranked above Ole Miss. :D

Somewhere between 15-20, just below the 1-14 spots filled by SEC teams.

Ranking are so screwballed. And the fact that an App State can come out of nowhere and beat a Michigan... Just proves that the writers and coaches don't have it right. And strength of schedule... Oh deliver me:censored:

They should be Top Ten. Only sounds ridiculous to some because they should have been on the radar before Oregon at like #22 or something. Let's look at some of the teams in the Top 10 now.

MICHIGAN STATE: Oregon thrashed them and Arizona just beat them in Eugene. Seems a no-brainer MI State, in a far inferior conference, will have no business being ahead of AZ

NOTRE DAME: They are 4-0, but have beaten exclusively turds. If they beat Stanford, they'd have an argument to be ahead of AZ. We all know ND basically can poop and get ranked, so I doubt AZ is ahead of them, but probably should be based on resume.

ANY TEAM WITH A LOSS: Five weeks into the season, it's time to start respecting undefeated teams in power conferences. While this may pain SEC fans, that includes LSU (their loss is to a good team, but after Wisconsin, they have played cupcakes). Last year, SEC fell off and PAC-12 was arguably better. There should be no more SEC bias.

I don't care how much they have to move up and/or how much Oregon has to fall - In my poll they will be above Oregon. Not sure how anyone could justify otherwise?

They should be ahead of Oregon.

But will you also have Oregon over MSU?

Works both ways.
