No, its not. Its the same risky throw. What if he under threw it as he was off balance? It would have been picked and you would be losing your shit right now. The safest bet was to run it there and kick the FG. Of course, if we did that and the rams came back and scored a TD to win, you would somehow blame KC for not audibling out of the run play and not playing to win. (BTW, I'm not advocating that we should have run it there, I thought it was a good call).

The Grant Td was a risk throw? lol. versus the Int in the Philly game? You got to be kidding me. Even if KC misses Grant it goes out of bounce and we kick the Fg. There was no one near KC when he made the Grant TD throw. The Philly game he was being rushed and threw across the middle of the field with bad mechanics. So these are the same? yeah right .

Dumb ass. Read your own posts. Last week you said it was risky to throw off your back foot. No mention in that post of pressure. Do I need to pull the post? Moving the goal posts again I see, dean.

I said pressure on a lot of posts. I wrote more than one post on it. Go cherry pick.

Sure you did. Once your original post was proven to be inane. You moved the goal posts. Again.

Look at how close Donald or Barwin coming from the left side DT come to knocking the pitch from Kirk to CT out of the air on CT's first TD. Kirk just got the ball under that left hand and Kirk held the rock for a bit before he pitched it, Kinda like a read option pitch....Dilly Dilly!

CT"s TD run was a thing of beauty. The Skins haven't had a runner as dynamic as him since Joe Washington.

Yup. Its a shame he dropped that one pass over the middle. He would have scored as the field in front of him was wide open.

As per usual I didn't get to see the game but am trying to critique it based on what you guys are saying.

So CT had a big drop that would have gone for a TD? How long?

I also read TP had a big drop.

Any other drops?

The ball was at midfield. So if CT would have caught it, it very well could have been a 50+yd td. It was right in his hands and he just didn't look it in. TP dropped a pass early in the game that would have been for 10-15 yards and a first down. Those were the only drops that I can remember.

Man. I hope I get to see the replay. I didn't like what I saw of KC in the portion of the game I saw, nor did I like the OL.

I see the debate soldiers on far as Kirk's TD pass yesterday and his INT last week. IMO Cuz has to make boyh throws much more often than not. I think the pass yesterday was an easier pass to make, but the pass last week shouldn't have a high degree of difficulty either for a legit NFL QB and I think Cuz is legit. The more I think about last week's pass. The more I think Cuz just rushed the throw and was likely rusty.

As far Cuz being a game manager against the Rams I say word. If you look at the box score /game stats from the 2915 game, a 24-10 Skins win, Yesterday's game was damn near a carbon heavy.

Skins get out to a nice early lead, Rams get back into the game, Skins score the put away/game winner TD late in the 4th quarter. In both games we were run heavy and pass efficient. 37 rushes/27 passes in 2015, 39 rushes/27 passes yesterday. We got a huge TD run in both games and scored 3 TDs each with 1 TD pass by Kirk in both games. Kirk didn't throw for a lotta yards in either game, 203 yards in 15 and 179 yards yesterday, but we did pick up a lotta 1st downs via the pass in reach game. The Skins also dominated TOP in both games by an almost 2 to 1 margin. We had a blueprint to beating the Rams and Gruden followed it to the letter. Good on him.

I doubt we win every game we win this year in that fashion, but for whatever reason. Our OL matches up favorably with their DL. and the game imo was game-planned largely under that premise.

And if Kirk had hit him on the sidelines on that one play. That looked to have damn good odds for another big play touchdown. CT would've scored for sure on that pass he dropped though.

Not sure he would have scored, but you are right, it would have been a big play.

Good win yesterday! Things looked a bit improved this week also. Kirk looked better, the line looked a little better considering it was a top DL imo and we ran the ball very well. We did have our problems up front at times but I saw improvement. Defense did a better job getting off the field on 3rd downs but Gurley did a number on us.

Saw very little from Pryor, Doctson, Reed, Davis etc...Want to see more playing time for Perine.

HTTR!
