Why not bring back the NFL's Fastest Man Competation?

NFL would be worried about injuries. Too much money involved now compared to the 1980s. And the NFL doesn't really have to do anything more to promote itself.

All true, but the lack of guaranteed contracts already protects the NFL to some degree. Every other sport has more reason to eliminate these activities before the NFL does.

I would put my money on Hill, though he would probably have to train for this.

I ran the 100 back in high school and was on the 400 meter relay team. We set a school record and I thought we were pretty good, but we went to the Penn Relays and there were girls there were faster than me. That was pretty much the end of my track and field career when I saw that.
I could pole vault in High School.
Track coach wanted me to join the team.
The team would have to compete in LA where kids were vaulting 5' higher than me.
mmmmm. no!

winner gets Micah

What about Tyquon Thornton, the Patriots #2 draft pick has previously been clocked at 4.21,
In fairness, his combine speed was 4.28 - and he is younger than Tyreek.
Maybe he should get in on this?

Is this the thread dedicated to track and field? Did you guys see this? Amazing. If he avoids injury, I think he'll break Bolt's 200 meter record. 19.49 seconds at 18 years old is one of the greatest track and field performances ever. Still in high school. I only ran into this article yesterday, probably because track is just not popular at all.

I think Bolt could've actually run under 19 seconds, but he just never did it. Bolt also didn't have the greatest form (probably because of scoliosis). If Bolt didn't have that condition, maybe he's sub 9.5 seconds in the 100 meter dash and sub 19 seconds in the 200 m.

Can the kid play football? If yes, future Raider?

He actually gave up football to turn pro in track. It's been my theory for a while that the US is not winning as many golds in track as in the past because our best athletes are going into football, basketball, and baseball. This guy is an exception.

But yeah, if Al Davis were alive, he would draft this guy no matter what. He'll draft him just in case he ever changes his mind about football.

You want to talk owners when you have Stephen Ross?

If true he can go I have no problem saying that whereas patsies make excuse after excuse about their owner and coach. You tell me who has more integrity.... Besides the Fins have a black GM and hired said black HC and they are now racists...come on you can do better than that. They were also rebuilding and did way better than expected yet they purposely tanked really? I've seen far better squads do worse than Miami has the past few years.

Kraft needs no excuses.
You agree on Ross if he is found guilty - he won't be. NFL is using their hired gun to find nothing.....
