Ha! I was thinking the same thing. I was thinking either he's the HC or Whit pays him a ton of cash to be the OC but he's also the head coach in waiting just to give Beamer a 1 year novelty ride sendoff to keep the old timers happy.

BTW, the way we moved the ball in the 3rd quarter makes me even more pissed. We've been able to do that shit all year using that style but Loeffler won't use it consistently. Fire his ass.

It is going to depend on who gets the job but I think Foster, Wiles and Shane would go.

I wish it was that simple and it has been festering for a while but it has finally caught up. Complacency in a bad conference. You could see it in our OOC games.

Also, regular flu shaping up to be bad this year compared to the past few?

I think it will be a bit worse than normal but what concerns me more is when flu kicks in and people are feverish and throwing up how many places are going to get shut down thinking it is Ebola. Also, the flu/enterovirus 68 situation could get bad for kids. Vaccinations are a really big deal this year. Hopefully this years vaccine is effective.

I'd think it's a pretty good job.

Great fans, new facilities, some good talent on board. Beamer has built up the brand.

Some really great matchups in the next few years.

I believe it's a good job, but especially if we get a 1st year head coach, I don't want someone using VT as a launching point. If any coach is successful here, especially with recruiting and then leaves, you know they're going to be in the area for years.
