Cool, well then next time, include Saint Louis and Nova (who is certainly meets your criteria, although they are in the Big East). And by the end of the season, you can also throw Creighton in there, even though they are also in the Big East.

So we're talking about WSU, SDSU, and St Louis. And if your criteria is that the team has a cupcake schedule and doesn't win against against solid competition, then we should definitely be counting Nova, and Louisville (with Creighton knocking on the door). Got it, and I agree. Just wanted to make sure that we were counting all of them.

how do you know UVA is "solid" when they are beating up on the ACC? Same with the Duke team that you claim was bad in the nonconference. there's no chance that the league has sometime to do w/ it? None?

So according to your logic, when it comes down to it, SU and Duke are not very solid right now. So at this point, #14 UVA is the only solid team in the ACC right now.

when two teams play in november, only the losing team can improve and be better later in the year. it's in the rulebooks, guys! we were the best we could possibly be (2 frosh, 3 sophomores in our 7-man rotation) so the fact that duke got better over the next 3 months means they would beat us by 100 now and we are bad. because we beat them in November. end of argument, johnnyboy wins again!

nope they fell out of the top 10 after losing to clemson and ND at the beginning of ACC play. their hot streak (when they played a garbage schedule besides UVA @ home) brought them back to top 5

And Duke was still ranked #7 when they lost to ND. It was only after then and losing to Clemson (over a month after losing to AZ) that they started to fall.

So obviously no one thought that Duke was that bad if they stayed in the top ten the entire time. If everyone really thought that they were just all preseason hype, then they would have fallen much further, sooner. Your argument still holds no weight. Man, johnny, you gotta make it more difficult for us to completely poke holes in your argument. It's too easy.
