Somewhat surprising. Crystal ball got it wrong again. So apparently he is interested in engineering again and that was a key factor in his decision? I thought his change in interest to sports management was a reason for eliminating us.

FWIW, the Yahoo/Rivals presentation that preceded his decision said that Bud Foster was his favorite coach at some point. So there's that. I think it's a bit head-turning when teams that are on the short list for the National Championship are giving you lots of attention.

Nobody goes to Bama for either, but especially not for engineering. They don't even have the best program in the state, much less on the level of Michigan or VT. We all know this is about football, not academics.

Give me Walker and Nnadi inside with Mihota coming off the edge and instill fell pretty damn good about this DL haul.

Walker was my #1 must get for this class, even above Hand. He can play both positions and has shown it. I think he is a top 3 Virginia player and top 50 national recruit.

I really like the way Nnadi has that chip on his shoulder. I really want him in O&M. Hopkins has shown what having a terror in the middle can do for a defense and I can see Nnadi being a similar type guy.

Getting Williams, Reid and McKenzie would be insane (in a good way). Would that mean position changes for Mangus and Caleb?

That backfield is gonna be crowded with or without Shai. I expect Mangus to move to the slot. Not sure what will happen with Caleb. Maybe bulk up and become that DJ Coles-H Back kind of guy?

Sounds like Shane and the offensive staff are going all in on RBs in this class and that Scott is going to get a shot there. Kid was Beach District Offensive POY, definitely a feather in his cap. At any rate he could help us somewhere (WR, KR). Not sure if this is a greyshirt offer or he is just gonna load up on Rbs and let them battle it out. I am all for it (the way the running game has been). Have heard some rumors about Trey Edmunds possibly moving back to LB???
