For those that don't follow twitter ... Derrick Nnadi and Jahvoni Simmons visited from Thursday to Saturday ... Word is the visit went very well

Also looks like 4* DE Jesse Aniebonam and 4* WR Dominique Booth will be visiting before the open practice on 4/6 .. Kentavius street will be visiting on April 13th ... 25 or so prospects expected on 4-6, including Jacob park, hand, and possibly Andrew brown

Spring game looks to be pretty epic ... With up to 100 or so prospects ( 2014 and beyond)

Hard to believe we really in the picture for Elijah Hood. Some of these Buy or Sell seem to contradict the opinions of some of the other VT message boards.

Which ones were you referring to? Just looking for more recruiting insight. I felt pretty good about the ones listed as buy, a lot of those guys towards the bottom were unknowns to me.

Hood has had a change of direction recently. I wouldn't list him as a buy, but we may have a shot. Here are some recent quotes from Hood:

I'm talking with my family and probably going to have to reconsider some of my schools. Just the ones further away. I kind of want to stay close to home I believe.

Family is really important to me and I kind of forget that sometimes. This time is going to be the last time I'll really be around them and I have certain family and friends who are older. It would mean the world for them to watch me in person because I don't know how long they'll be around. My family doesn't have the funds to make really long trips and it will make me happy to play closer to home.

I thought about some things and it just turned out I am focusing on schools closer to home, although I am still looking at Notre Dame. I am going to focus on North Carolina, Virginia Tech and Georgia. I will visit those schools, along with Notre Dame. It is the only school I can look at far away that I can feel 100 percent comfortable with leaving this area to go to.

Yea the weather here was crazy yesterday. No snow was in the forecast and all of a sudden around 4-5 inches fell within two hours. 460 towards I-81 was at a complete standstill for wrecks.

I heard the weather was pretty bad there yesterday. I was actually still living there until this January until I got moved to Albuquerque. Still stinks they changed until Monday....

Then it was 60 here yesterday and melted all the snow. I hate that it was moved until Monday but they scrimmage on Worsham Field, no need to destroy it b4 the spring game. 50,000 fans and recruits dont want to see a cow pasture. I encourage all that can attend April 20th, its a huge recruiting weekend, lets show the recruits what the Hokie Nation is all about.

I will be watching as much as I can online. I have not missed a spring game in 7 years. Actually have not missed an open scrimmage in 5, but this being out of state ends that streak. I'm just glad that I can come here for good information while I am gone.
