If we trade up to #1 and take Bryce Young or select Richardson at #5, I'm quitting as a Seahawks fan and following the Kraken exclusively.
Neither makes any sense.
We are basically in win now mode for next two years amd our defense is in need of elite difference makers.

I like Wilson, Anderson is growing on me. Carter is to big of a risk at the #5 spot IMO. It’s apparent he feels he doesn’t have to put in the work to be great, and his judgment is poor at best. As for the QBs I like Stroud best and feel he’s the safest of the QBs this draft.

Same on Throwers.

I look at it like 1 A, 1b. 3a, 3b, 5

anderson/carter > wilson
I like wilson, but watching his tape he looks super slow on the get off. im not sure how well he will transition to the NFL.

Reason is, I like his size @ 275. We can slide him in the B gap and run a true end on the outside if needed.

Have you been listening to Mike Salk talk about the draft lately? It's bizarre... he thinks we should trade up to #1 and take Bryce Young if he's there, and if not then the player that would make him the most excited (in a positive way) at 1.5 is Richardson. Now he's also stated he wants them to take Carter so I guess he's all over the map, but I'll lose my mind if we turn our 2 first round picks into 1 player who doesn't improve the weakest part of the team.

Yeah I think it's all radio chatter. I really don't think the Seahawks have any intention of drafting a QB.

Minor correction: I mistyped that... Salk thinks we should trade up to #2, not 1. He expects CJ Stroud to be Carolina's pick at the top. Either way, horrible idea.

I have to imagine Carolina is taking Stroud. They had like 15 people there at his pro-day (almost twice as much as other teams) lol.

And you're correct, moving to #2 to take the midget 2.0 (reference to Murray) who was sacked almost 40 times last year, would be a horrible idea.

I don't know what to expect at the top right now. I think Carolina should take Stroud, but this morning Brock seemed pretty confident they're going with Young. I just went to ESPN website and saw some business about Houston maybe not even taking a QB at 2. Hard to believe they wouldn't do that, but it's also hard to figure out what to believe right now.

This is a pretty interesting mock draft. One of the better ones that doesn't involve us taking Jalen Carter, which I still think is our best pick.

5 - Tyree Wilson - I think he could play LB in a 3-4 or DE in a 4-3 which gives us some nice versatility
27 - Seahawks trade down to 27 get back a 3rd and 5th. Cody Mauch - This seems high from where I've seen him slotted but his versatility is pretty nice.
37 - Bryan Bresee - I would be thrilled with getting him this late especially if we pass on Carter
52 - Tyrique Stevenson CB - I don't know much about him but this is supposedly a deep corner draft. Not bothered by this
83 - Owen Pappoe LB - Ran a 4.39 at the combine. Decent size Seems like good value here.
91 - Keyshon Boute WR - This seems like a good spot to draft a WR. Brugler says he has some effort issues but could be productive.
123 - Tanner McKee QB - Not sure they will take a QB at all depending on how they feel about Lock. But if they do this seems like a nice move at this spot. Some people love this guy. Seems a little noodle armed but who knows?
137 - Xazavian Valliday RB - I know nothing about but this seems about right for a RB pick
151 - Jarret Paterson C - Well taking a C is good
154 - Corey Trice CB -
198 - Nesta Jade Silvera DT
237 - Troy Dean RB

Yep, I'm pretty sure we've talked about every prospect the Seahawks won't take ad nauseum and the team will take someone we've all never heard of and we'll get to switch topics to them for the next couple months.:dhd:

If he doesn't wear #15, is he even worth taking?

no matter how we all look at it this team went 3-5 in their last 8 games. There is a lot of improvement that is needed to be made and unless the Hawks FO totally screws up they should improve a lot with these first 4 picks in the draft. These picks will mean a lot to the success of a team that's missing talent. They are a .500 at best club right now but with improvement on defense they could become a 10 or more win team. These 4 picks could mean playoffs or prolonged rebuild.

I mean, I'm laughing pretty hard at this and not in a good way.

"With the number 5 overall, Seattle select Art Green, cornerback. Houston."

LOL I can see something completely like this.

Overall its not bad, but I would take drew sanders or schmitz at 52 over a CB

The defense gave up 200+ rush per game, a couple DL picks shore that up and they could legit be the top team in the division, if the niners dont figure out their QB problem
