Gratz, it was pretty much a lock of the century

VT put a shit load of resources into that one for a very long time

Offered the dude in middle school, had former big time alumni from his area of the state making it known that they wanted him to stay instate (Kam Chancellor, Deangelo Hall, Mike Vick), the coaching staff giving non-specific (by the rules) shout outs publically, and even letting him publically debut VT's unis for the Bristol game on twitter.

All that not just because of Hunter's skill level....he's a damn good safety prospect but not some super elite sure fire first rounder......but for perception in-state in an extremely talent rich area of the state. They put a shit load of eggs in that basket and it worked out.

Said he's working on flipping Jordan Williams, which would be maybe even eclipse Hunter signing as the best thing that's happened to VT recruiting in 20 years.

He doesn't necessarily have a spot. Randal Grimes, Desert Pines, Athlete moved past him on our board and Joseph Lewis always has a place.

Grimes came out for a visit last week despite threats from USC. Now that we have our slot guy, want taller guys to fill out the roster.

Grimes visit went really well. Still early but he is liking that number 9

USC doesn't seem to be closing lately. Not sure I would be too worried at this point. Could even lose Austin Jackson.

USC seems to be working on some flips. It looks like they already flipped Bolden. The biggest surprise was Marlon Tuipoluto coming in for an official visit. I'm not sure how that is going to work out.With Petersons no visits for commits or no scholarships rule. But he was definitely at SC this weekend.It could get very interesting come signing day. But I'm also not going to get my hopes up. SC looks like they are rolling the dice

OU coaches have an in home visit schedule with Phillips on Friday and they are putting a full court press on Wilson, even Gerald McCoy and Tommy Harris are reaching out to him on twitter. If Phillips is smart he'll go to OU and have the same coaching staff his entire College Career. Not so sure LSU can say that.
