I believe the best heels are so good that they become the fan favorite. Ric Flair, Roddy Piper, Scott Hall, Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold, and Edge were all really good at it. I could list a lot more but those were the ones that 1st popped into my head.

I would definitely include CM Punk on that list once he became "voice of the voiceless".

Yeah, interesting because I think when Vince sent him out there to give this speech, he thought it was going to build the heel side of Punk. I don't think he saw the fans completely marking out for the promo. But goes to show you that the WWE universe is so sick of everything punk talked about.

IMO, the highest quality characters are those that are not baby face or heel. They just become fan favorite against anybody. The Undertaker is the best example. Most of his career, he was neither a heel nor face. He was just The Dead Man.

Shawn Michaels talks about when he first got Takers handshake and how he knew he made it then. Shawn was in pro wrestling and in the WWF longer and yet Taker was still his respect standard.

I would add John Cena to that list, was a long time ago, but I remember Cena as a great heel.

WWE Network is a great app, but I must say the quality in PPV's has really gone downhill since its launch. It's like they stopped trying ever since they got us all on the 6 month plan.

Yeah well they are royally F'd come after Summerslam when everyones subscription runs out....Everyone got the 6 months sub because they got WM. You got 6 PPVs for the price of one basically, if you were going to just get WM.

And with their current status of pissing off PPV networks by launching their network....By pissing off USA network AND with plummeting stocks, Vince is going to need to pull off some magic to stay afloat. WWE could be heading into a train wreck.
