Last report was he had a 5 /93 contract extension he did not sign. I dont get it if he wants to be here, just because other CB's are averaging over 20. What are a few million when you already have 100 of them. Again, just reported by someone who claims to know, which probably is not true, but if they truly want Edwards back his deal is going to be like 3 65 plus, so the roquan point is pretty well mute. Now, if they let Jack Sanborn stay in the middle, there are two more years of patting themselves on the back. As far as CB goes, that smith kid plays with an edge, we have another johnson, Spiderman and Stevenson, plus high picks. At some point you look for what you need to replace. Clearly need a center for the fifth year in a row. Another tight end who can catch the ball, and hopefully replace Eddie Jackson.
Poles is screwed either way with the QB decision. I would like to see some competition, let the competition red shirt like they should have let fields red shirt. Nobody is giving a first for fields, maybe an almost second round pick, best case for his career is most probably a fresh start.
