If you've got room to stash and time to wait, Matz could be a nice little add. Could be a month, month and a half, tho...or it could be a week or two...or it could be not at all. Tough one, but in a 15 teamer I'll roll the dice if I can.

I own his rights, Fuzzy. We own team bullpens so I'm not in danger of losing him. It's just a question on how long Clippard holds the closer role.

I would wait on Doolittle to see how he does and if he will get or hold onto the closer role. From what I have heard teams try not to have a lefty closer( not sure why)

I trust Teheran more than weaver. National league and facing a weaker offense.

That's what I was thinking with Doolittle. Add in that he's only throwing 90 mph right now. I don't think another week will hurt. Heck, not many saves in Oakland anyway.

I'm one of Teheran's biggest supporters...but he's off and on this year.

There's also Salazar. Hard to predict how his finger will be this week. He's a no brainer if he's a go (which he is expected to start)...

From what I've read, Doolittle's velocity is shaky. Probably safer to wait. Yeah, Teheran seems safer too.

I love Salazar, don't care if his finger is chopped off.

Question: Is Stanton worth obtaining? Do you think he comes back strong in mid-August, comes back slow in mid-August or gets delayed until September?

I was offered Stanton, Moose and Coghlan for Victor, Hunter and Machado.

I rejected. Not moving Manny, and this would sever my DH...

But is it worth it without Machado?

I was thinking of offering Hunter, Victor and Kang for Stanton, Deshields and Lowrie. I'd be screwed for six weeks but potentially deadly in the playoffs with three of the top six picks.
