Holy crap.

I don't love giving up that haul, especially when the Rams get Goff and make the playoffs in what might the most brutal division in football now, but that is the type of trade down that can rebuild a franchise.

Of course, they tried something like this (strategy wise) in 2005 trading down for a load of picks and they whiffed horrifically (the ben troupe/antwan odom draft).

We'll see if this GM can execute.

At this point trading 15 for Wilkerson would be a bold move. But defensible.

Wow...TN dropped down lower than anticipated (15), which takes them out of Tunsil territory but they got both Ram 2nds 43, 45, 3rd 76, 1st and 3rd in '17.

Rams also got a 4th 113, and 6th 177.

It is a bit ironic that that the Rams are the next team to do an RG3 type trade.

I honestly thought this type of trade was impossible. But I guess when you drop all the way to 15 it is.

maybe Tenn goes Conklin at 15 now?

Yep...Rams were fleeced badly here imo, no 2nd rd or 3rd this yr...no 1st or 3rd next yr....they do have two 4th.

TN at 15 seems like no mans land unless they go after Billings...I'm curious if they don't try to trade back into the top 10.

I'm liking the idea of a division rival giving up a lot to draft a player of a position that busts a high percentage of the time. It'll set them back for 3+ years if it doesn't work.
