It kills me that people get so bent out of shape over this.
Does it bother me that players are kneeling during the anthem? Yes it does. To be honest it really pisses me off but as a U.S. Air Force Veteran who served for 10 years I recognize their right do so. I served so people would have the freedom to do the things they want even if I do not agree with it.

I like your take on it, but I also think that fans are free to stop supporting the players/NFL if the kneeling bothers them so much.

Now, when the US prez bellyflops in, calls the players SOBs, and says they should be fired and deported...well, that's a demagogue right there.
