Things could be worse?

Yeah the Dodgers seem to be underperforming expectations this year and while the DBacks were considered to be on the rise, this seems kind of accelerated. Kind of like the Rangers, they were supposed to be pretty good but now they have the best record to this point in franchise history.

I actually thought the Dodgers would be a bit worse than their projected looks, as of today. I thought that there were chinks in their armor this year. Of course, practically all their rookies are performing decently.

I wouldn't say it is surprising, especially for the Padres. That franchise seems snake bit and buying a championship does not always work. They've still got time to pull it out though.

I'm borderline on how I feel about it too. I wouldn't mind them doing well but I hate machado sooooo much that I'm kinda glad they are failing...

From the recent conversation I had with a Dodgers' fan, it seemed his rep when he was with the team wasn't the greatest. Granted, this was one conversation, but I got the impression that it wasn't isolated with that one fan.

meh the cubs are 8 games under .500 and we've dropped 2/3 to them so far this weekend... and while Junebug took the loss, and gave up all 4 runs, brebs 2.0 innings is useless. Why is he starting if he can't go at least 5 innings?
