I dont know, he'll need a DC either way. I'd guess he'll be the one running it though, at least in the beginning.
His coaching and philosophy will be there either way.

I'm a little surprised that Utah couldn't pull him. I would assume they tried before they hired Eastern's OC.

Heard some rumblings that Wilcox is going after Washington DB coach Jimmy Lake.

Look elsewhere jerkoff.

But I'll give credit where it is due. Oregon and Cal are being smart buy not paying a kings ransom for the HC salaries to provide more to the assistant pool. Its allowing them to get nice capable staffs right out of the gate.

UW QB Jake Browning has reportedly had a minor surgical procedure on his throwing elbow. Recovery time stating two months.
Reports now stating he suffered some type of injury during the Arizona St. game and that he decided to play through the rest of the season with this.

Seattle Times reporter Adam Jude:

The setback occurred during Washington's 44-18 win against Arizona State on Nov. 19, but the "exact nature of the injury is unclear."

Jude pointed out Washington head coach Chris Petersen doesn't typically discuss injuries on his team and elected to keep the shoulder concerns "concealed so as not to expose the star quarterback to more potential risk from opposing defenses."

Browning was one of the best quarterbacks in the country in the 2016 season and led the Huskies to the College Football Playoff with 3,430 passing yards, 43 touchdown throws and just nine interceptions.

However, he wasn't as effective down the stretch as he was at the start of the year, and the injury adds context to the performances. According to Jude, Browning had a quarterback rating of 202.79 in the first nine games but posted a mark of 161.82 in the last five.

Those last five games included Washington's 26-13 loss to USC when Browning threw two interceptions, but it should be noted that contest was before the Arizona State victory.

Browning also struggled in the Pac-12 Championship Game against Colorado and the CFP against Alabama, although the level of competition was better than those early season games.

But wait, it's all those kids faults! I mean they could have drank some water and taken a break right?

How can it be that someone is paying a price for this when it wasn't their faults at all.

Why werern't the coaches checking on him? should never have let him keep playing. he could have done more. clearly the coaches weren't doing their jobs and protecting him. OUTRAGE!!

and allowed to rest and take breaks and get water as needed.

I keep hearing it was "military style training". Now you say allowed to rest and get water. lol. As a former Marine those two things don't go together.
Football players should be in pretty good shape. Maybe these were O linemen and really werent used to serious training. As a strength supervisor he should have known their limits. if it was just one then maybe I can see it just being a mistake. If it's three then the instructor fucked up. Not saying the players werent soft . Just saying the guy in charge should know the signs of a person in trouble..
