After watching the snooze fest which was the LSU v. Bama game, I can't help but think that Les Miles is the best coach in the country. In my opinion, LSU really had no business winning yet they still pulled it out. He's done this plenty of time before too.

I also watched the OKSt v. KSt game when i had the chance and that was a heck of a game. I would LOVE to seem LSU play OKSt in the national championship. An offense that can't be stopped versus a defense that can't be scored on. WOO

Really??? you thought that was a "snooze fest", i mean it was a low scoring game but i thought it was exciting as hell.

i think lsu would beat okstate by several scores. okstate doesnt play any defense like that in the big 12, not even close, and they have a terrible defense themselves. lsu would win by 17 at least i think.

I say snoozefest because both teams played to their strengths, which is do nothing on offense and hope the other team screws up. While the game was exciting, there were very few big plays and the game was ultimately decided by a miscue by Bama (getting sacked on 3rd down in OT) and a good run by LSU (I could swear that that was their only play longer than 10 yards).

Ironically, this is just a watered down version of the prime time game tomorrow with the Ravens up against the Steelers. That game should be even more exciting.

I do agree that both teams played it pretty conservative but IMO it was exciting because the whole game you knew that if someone could just get into the EZ it would be their game to lose.

That game last night was horrible. You can say it was an epic defensive struggle but it really looked like more 2 shitty offenses. When there are 3 guys in the backfield making a play, that isnt stellar defense, its a breakdown upfront. There was no throwing down field because the offenses couldn't do anything. When receivers were open the QBs missed them or passes were dropped. For the hype of being the biggest game ever and the game of the century, it sucked. Great teams don't miss 4 FGs.

IMO it didnt live up to the hype but that would have been next to impossible. All in all though i thought it was a great football game between to evenly matched teams, maybe not game of the century (or even game of the year) but still one of the better football games i've watched in a while.

As far as Bama's missed field goals: i will never understand the decision to even kick them, IMO they should have been punting and playing for field position.

Wow... Wake Forest beating Clemson 28-14. If WF wins this game all they have to do is beat Maryland and they are in the ACCCG

With 5 minutes to go, Wake Forest has just taken command of the game against Clemson with 3 TDs in the last few minutes off of Clemson turnovers and a punt return. Boyd has looked horrible.

Personally would rather see WF in the ACC CG than Clemson.

Might just be me, but I would like a Clemson-VT ACCCG. I want a rematch, but more importantly, I want a big ACCCG. That game would attract a huge crowd and there would be a lot more hype around the game. WF just doesn't bring that.

Oh, I agree with the 'bigger' game atmosphere. I meant that I would prefer our chances more with Wake than Clemson. Regardless, I think the way that Logan and DW have been playing, we'd have a hell of a chance against anyone.

I do think that it is better for the ACC to have a top 10 matchup in the ACC CG. I always like to pull for underdogs though and Wake is the ultimate underdog with the smallest student body of any FBS program. Plus, Grobe is a heck of a coach and does things the right way.

Congrats to Clemson. Hopefully the Hokies can finish strong to join them in Charlotte. I do question though the clock at the end of the game. There should have been at least a couple seconds left after the kick. Probably not a huge deal but anything can happen. I'd be bit angry if I was a Wake fan.

PS. ACC is sold out of general admission tickets (that's to the public, not through schools). Watch 3rd party ticket sites now that Clemson fans can plan ahead. Market is going to change.

boise state loses at the buzzer on a missed field goal. it is a deserved win for TCU in my opinion. TCU got shafted on a pass interference call at the end that kept the boise drive alive on 4th and 10. we are moving up at least 1 spot in the bcs, maybe 2 if oregon loses tonight.
