The more Brett Hundley plays, the more he looks like Seneca Wallace. Bummer. I had strong hopes for him.

The best option at this point is likely not going to be to trade him, but to keep him as a backup to Rodgers for another year and draft another kid to back up Rodgers in the 2018 draft to be Rodgers backup in 2019.

I didnt think he looked bad in the second half. Pushed some passes further down the field. I do think he checked down too much but Brady did that for four years before he really got going. Chad Pennington made a career out of that.

The thing that has me scared about him is if his second read is not there, he immediately tucks and runs.

Sometimes just after the first. He does not look like an NFL QB to me.

Yeah.

And the biggest problem with that is instinct. ...It's his instinct to run. ...Nearly impossible to break.

The kid throws a pretty accurate ball and has a reasonably strong arm, so I think he could stick around the league for a while as a journeyman backup like Seneca Wallace did.

I agree. However I think that comfort comes with snaps. Most QBs dont have a great pocket presence right off the bat. He missed and entire preseason last year to injury.

It could be wishful thinking but I think he will be ok. I dont think he will be a world beater by any means but I dont think it too much to expect competence.
