billboard for Seattle will remind them of their past while we're going to dominate the here and now.

If you have 5 SB's which aren't nearly so shiny and are likely tarnished, you don't have to retaliate
because you should act like you've been there before. Insecurity of realizing there's a new kid
on the block that transferred in and is scoring the hot chicks, is a 4 star letterman and has rhode scholar potential causes friction from the guys that were cool back in jr. high.

Insecurity is oozed when you have to remind us of something that happened almost 20 - 30 years ago.

We did fly a banner over their field so it's not like we're innocent of this sort of thing, I'm cool with it as long as it stays within the confines of good taste. I'm enjoying the creative ways our respective fan bases are messing with each other. So far these stunts have been pretty lighthearted and a decent amount of money has gone to charity so why not?

If it takes a dark turn and gets downright insulting then it's time to pull the plug on this back and forth but until then, I say go for it.

As for how many we've won? hopefully in a couple months we'll get to say "the last one"!

You just can't get 49'er fans to discuss football over our rivalry because they have nothing to bring to the table. All they have is history old enough that Clinton was only in his second year in office when they last won a title.
