didn't think it would either but still, very odd

SEC would jump on at least one of them in a second, if not both.

Greensboro-Winston-Salem, Raleigh-Durham and Charlotte media markets are 3 of the top 5-10 markets when it comes to viewership in College Football and Basketball.

Would also be a good way to add a state that has 10+ million people living in it.

One final note on Collins @ericd7633

I do think its pretty amazing that Manning was able to take a kid that wasn't ranked inside the Rivals 150 and turn him into a 2-and-done.

I think its a combination of Manning being a very good big man coach (like his reputation said he was while he was at KU) and the recruiting services just whiffing on Collins' upside.

I would agree. Manning has shown to be a good developer of big men, and I do think he was underrated coming out of high school as well. I don't even think Florida or FSU even offered him out of high school.

They did not, but hometown Miami did.

Oh i am sure any conference would jump on getting these two, especially UNC

Wasn't Moore ranked ahead of Collins coming out of high school?

Yes, Moore was a consensus Top 100 recruit. Word on him was that he was always going to be someone that was going to take time to develop, because of his size. We'll see how he develops as an upperclassmen.

I think Moore has a sky high ceiling, but he also has a low floor. I think Sam Japhet-Mathias has a very good ceiling and a decent floor.

The amount of Syracuse fans living in NC is probably a tad higher than most would expect.

Also, when did 247sports steal The Devil's Den name away from Scout? I just noticed that.

It's Adam Rowe's deal. That's all.

Starting line up I think would go as follows:

PG: Frank Jackson
SG: Grayson Allen
SF: Gary Trent Jr.
PF: Wendell Carter
C: Marques Bolden

Maybe. Duke needs a PG and if they get Duvall I say he will start at the PG position day 1. Jackson can play PG, but he's a SG that was utilized at PG by the end of last season. Coach K tried Allen at PG, Jones at PG, hell he even had Amile Jefferson bringing up the ball at times. Duke needs a PG badly. Jackson could compliment a Tre Duvall and also that would free up Allen to be a playmaker rather than a facilitator as he was used last season. K plays three guards at a time quite a bit. I'm sure he does the same next season as well.

Woodberry might leave Wake to be the HC at Oral Roberts. That means the DBO, Justin Bauman, will probably be promoted to replace Ballard, but will also allow Manning to (hopefully) hire an experienced assistant.

Would also love to see Josh Howard come in to be the next DBO. Spent this past year as the HC at a Christian College in Winston.

Really not a fan of this staff turnover once Wake got a little positive momentum for the first since 2010.

This is a decent pickup by State. Freeman looks like a good shooter from deep, but he doesn't do much else. Had more TO's than assists this year. Seems to be an average defender. However, he'll able to score from long range and that is something State needs following the departure of Maverick Rowan.

Wonder if Terry Henderson is going to get his sixth year. If he doesn't, it'll be interesting to see who will carry the offensive load from the perimeter for State next year.
