Here's a little college football trivia for you. Michigan stole the winged helmet concept from Michigan St. who stole it from Brown University.Okay, I missed that part. Then, I don't agree that Michigan State should be #1. Not as high as the other 4 on the list.

There were several teams that had winged helmets before Michigan including Ohio State, Purdue, Michigan State, and Princeton. Michigan hired former Princeton head coach Herbert “Fritz” Crisler to be their head coach, he made the move to the winged helmet. The first game that they played with the winged helmet was against Michigan State who was also wearing the winged helmet. Michigan dominated the game. Here's a little college football trivia for you. Well they do have 4 national titles, so there is that.Yeah...MSU has done fine lately, but the other 120 years of their existence they've been a Rust Belt version of the Gamecocks.
It’s most underrated, not most likely to shit down their leg.Ucla? Texas A&M? List is crap

There were a bunch of teams around the same time that used that version of the winged helmet. We stole Crisler from Princeton who was using a similar design. So technically we stole it from them.
