Doesn't make a difference whether he has the TJ surgery or not, the Yanks are officially in trouble if no other pitchers can step in and pitch well. CC got rocked twice now and Tanaka will not be a constant force in this year's rotation. My guess is they will look to make a deal somewhere along the way come the trade deadline if they're still in it. The rest of the team is playing better than I expected except for Didi. Bunch of errors already and can't hit. Right now Joe has his hands full.
