Great pickup. They needed a top of the rotation guy.

It is a good move for the Orioles. It didn't cost them anything they couldn't live without. DL Hall and Joey Ortiz, though very good talents, may not have had a path toward regular major league spots in Baltimore. Ortiz really didn't have a spot available to him.
From the Brewers' standpoint, they certainly got value for Burnes. It is not likely that he'd have re-signed with them long-term.

It's a perfect move. If they all repeat the performances from last year, they can consider re-signing him long term...

If they fall back to earth, good trade deadline bait...

Great move for the O’s - they needed to add to the rotation, and Burnes is an ace pitcher. They AL East is loaded this year.

Snell's sitting out there too as well, I would rather have Wells in the bullpen and have someone else come in to be the #2.

I think Rodriguez is poised for a breakout season. He looked so much better after he got recalled (2.58 ERA, 2.76 FIP, 3.70 xFIP, 8.6 K/9, 2.5 BB/9, 0.4 HR/9, 52.7% GB% in 76.2 IP). His biggest issues prior to that were the walks and home runs (thanks to a ridiculous HR/FB rate), two things that were much improved. Kremer looks like a ~2 WAR pitcher. Hard to get a good feel for Means given how much time he's missed the last few years, but he was a solid pitcher in 2019 and 2021
