So no one ranked then?

nah, he was wrong, but nobody ranked over #24 in the BCS, and from the computers which don't take into account preseason bias, wisconsin isn't a top 25 team either.

think about how extensive a list you could make of teams that have beaten everyone they have played ranked 24th or lower. that's the category i put ohio state in.

At this point an undefeated team in a major conference deserves to be ahead of a 1-loss team.

Although Stanford beat Oregon last night, they have no business being in the top 3 or 4 with one loss to a shitty Utah team. Not sure why losses are rewarded nowadays, but that shit needs to stop now.....

I think Texas beats Baylor tbh... Texas's defense is as good or better than OU's and Texas has a much better offense...

Texas easily has a much better defense than OU does since Mack fired Diaz and Robinson took over. Texas also has a running game that can drain a clock and keep BU's offense off the field. Still, I don't know if Texas will beat Baylor. Baylor really is legit, IMO.....

I think you guys will... OU kept Baylor contained until OU's offense couldn't stay on the field and the D got tired...

I see a lot of Gray and Brown from Texas combined with not letting Baylor get the run game going forcing them to throw...

I think Texas wins like 24-14...

I like that prediction

I do like the combo of Brown and Gray to help drain that clock. IN all honesty, I know UT's defense was crap at the beginning of the season, but this will be the best overall talented defense Baylor will face. Robinson has this defense playing the way it should have when the season started. THEY CAN ACTUALLY TACKLE!!!!

I like your front 7 against Baylor's run game... I don't think they'll be able to peel off the big runs that Baylor has feasted on for most of this year...

If Texas can make Baylor one dimensional and are able to run the ball (like they've done all year) you should win going away...

I really dont understand this train of thought. At of one corner of the mouth everyone says they want to see more high profile OOC games, than the other side says you should rank undefeated teams over 1 loss teams regardless of quality or schedule. Makes 0 sense to me.

I agree and BCS "logic" is to blame. It will all change next year and we will be a little happier...for a while anyway.

The AP and Coaches poll will match the BCS poll.

Remember when ND beat Oklahoma last year, that was their "best" win, we see how that turned out. Baylor beat Oklahoma and it will be their best win until Texas most likely, not impressed sorry.

Yah, you can say tOSU hasn't played anyone. Difference is we won 21 straight, have a proven coach , and only getting better.

there are many instances where a 1 loss team has been ranked above undefeated AQ teams (including right now), Stanfords body of work, even with the 1 loss, is far and away more impressive than OSU's

and actually, thinking about it, I would revise my top 5 to

Bama
FSU
Stanford
Baylor
OSU
Can you provide one where an AQ (not the Big East or AAC) undefeated was behind a 1 loss team? I don't think it has happened. It won't happen this year by year's end.

I disagree on OSU ... their schedule may be easier, but they haven't lost to a 4-4 team like Stanford has. No way they will be behind a one loss team.

I'm surprised at your 1 and 2. If Bama beats LSU do they jump back to #1 on your top 5??

Maybe. If they beat LSU and Auburn then yes. If Bama goes undefeated, there is no rational argument for keeping them out of the top spot for sure.
