Multiple sites making this claim, including Athlon, SI and Yahoo sports…

I know a rumor is a rumor, but…

As an FSU fan/alum, I have been hoping that if the ACC cannot be salvaged that we go to the Big 10…

Guess we’ll see!

This realignment has gotten so insane. While I’m not opposed to all change, I’m not a fan of the complete disregard for geography in just creating these super conferences, and I’ll miss the rivalries that will be gone as a result of these changes.

Looks like rumor revolves around some dude from Barstool Sports (never heard of it) saying he heard a credible rumor…

I’d be more inclined to believe it if I had heard a reasonable path to get out of the ACCGOR agreement…

I've said it before and I'll say it again...college football needs to be blown up and reorganized. UCLA and USC in the Big Ten is just dumb as hell...and now potentially Cal, Oregon, Washington, etc? Oh, brudda. I'm all for adopting an NFL type format...

--72-team league
--36 teams in each conference
--4 divisions of 9 in each conference
--play 8 division games; 4 non-division games
--no more conference championship games
--12-team playoff (6 teams from each conference...4 division winners and 2 wildcards)
Playoffs...
top-2 get a 1st round bye

1st round
3rd vs 6th
4th vs 5th

Conference semifinals
1st vs lowest seed
2nd vs higher seed

Conference Championship
Two semifinal winners

National Championship
Two conference champions

I would do the same for the 'Group of Five' as well.
Sorry, everyone...there will be no North Texas/Western Kentucky vs Georgia/Alabama type matchups.
Two separate National Championships.

Oh, and hire Jay Bilas as College Football Commissioner (if he agrees with my plan :D).

Not nearly as dumb as staying in a conference that doesn't understand the importance of football would have been.

That and money.

We all know this is about flat cash barrel on the head when USC/UCLA headed to the B10.

We welcome you brothers.

Now lets make this more of what it already is in 2 Super Conferences.

Yep...between pissing off the conferences only blue blood in the most important sport, completely fucking up the PAC 12 Network and always sucking hind tit in tv deals, the PAC 12 cost its schools millions over the years making it virtually impossible to compete financially.

USC has been looking to leave for a while. Not sure how much truth there is to it, but I heard that if the B1G didn't work out, there was serious consideration to go independent.

GOR's are the only reason it took this long.

I'm pretty excited for this new chapter.

Hmm. I don't know. Kinda almost wish it goes back to old days of regional stuff.

But college football has exploded I think the next chapter most won't like. At all. Corporate sponsors and complete separation of CFB from 'college'.

Me too. But, things change, so it's keep up or get left behind.

I hope it won't end up like you say re: corp sponsors, etc.

But I can't say with any confidence that it won't.

Good friend that hansn't been much wrong since 2012 seems to believe where it will ago.

It is a crazy concept like soccer in which Georgia could be bought by Nike.

Or Ohio State bought by a major China investor. I have little doubt we are going that way.

I think the Big 10 takes Washington and Stanford to get to 18 and the Big 12 takes Oregon, Arizona, ASU, Utah and Uconn to get to 18

What a disaster.

Are lawyers and financial people responsible?

It seems like lawyers and financial people are most responsible.

Most organizations should ban them from leadership positions.
