Agree 100%, and the teams that they're adding do nothing to change that. BSU would be smart to stay away and hope for one of the real conferences to issue an invite soon.

They are as good as done. No respectable program will go to that conference. Even if the Big East picks the non AQ conferences apart they will not gather enough strength to matter. Their days in the BCS discussion are done. There will not be a team in that conference worth talking about.

Doesn't matter if we are in the MWC or the BE if one of the REAL conferences is interested.


The MWC is just the WAC 2 with a crappy tv deal. Even with the defections we make 3 time as much in the BE so it's a no brainer move.

The real conferences may laugh at the BE and it isn't that great but it's still way better than the MWC. In terms of average strength and tv. And so far it still has that AQ tag. So as messy as it is, it's still an improvement.

In terms of strength and TV money. New Mexico? UNLV? Wyoming? Check out where Hawaii and Fresno are ranked as well. Not one of those is breaking the 80 range. That's a whole lot of bottom weight AND now they have that ABORTION of a merger with CUSA.

Hell yeah we want OUT of that mess, even if the BE is the worst of the 6 AQ's.
