Well, that was a pretty interesting game. So much poor officiating in one place is not easy to accomplish, but that crew made it look easy.

On a side note, how have the Senators managed to make this into a 6 game series (at least) against the Providence Bruins? McQuade, Krug, C. Miller and Carlo on the D side all watching from the press box, with Krejci joining them after a knee on knee hit and Ottawa is struggling to finish this undermanned squad off?

On the knee hit to Krejci, why no call on that? And what was up with the Wideman midget mouthing off to him after he took him out?

Oh well, gotta move my tee time up tomorrow so that I'm home in time to watch the refs butcher another game.

I like what Chara said. Stuff like that happens (calls) and you have to almost expect it now. Have to find a way to battle through it and find a way.

When you are skating through the crease and you run over part of the goalie, I don't believe it is "incidental contact"

It looked to me like goalie interference, but must things in this years playoffs have been called the opposite of what they looked to me.

The precedent was already set this year. If the Jackets goal didn't count when Wennberg hit Fluery, that one should not have counted either. Nearly identical circumstances other than point of contact. For once, there is some consistency. We can debate the rule, but it was called and applied the same way here.
